Rumph.....i mean........

Rumph has a chance to do some specialty coverage work in the Redskins' system. His speciatly is man-to-man, something that defensive coordinator Gregg Williams might be able to use.

A nickle who specializes in man-to man? He might be the best pick up on the Defensive sidee behind Carter (I'm ...

How 'bout Springs. He's a tremendous corner who rarely gets any love. He's not even mentioned as a Pro Bowl alternate.

Just because something is generated by equations or calculations doesn't mean it's valid. There are many ways to evaluate TE's (or any other position for that matter). His numbers don't reflect how often a TE was used as a safety valve receiver. We also have no idea how he defines "catchable". He's ...

Well if they did take depth into consideration, they sure didn't put much stock in it. Of the top 5 teams, only one has a proven, legit #2 back and that is KC.

If they took depth into consideration, why is Pittsburg all the way at #11 when they have 2 proven running backs?

Last night they did a feature on the top backfields in the league. They had the skins at 6. They were basing it solely on the primary back, not depth. If depth were taken into consideration, I would have to think that the 'Skins would be closer to the top, if not #1.

Though i dont completely agree with the way gilbert is handling the situation, I can't blame him for putting pressure on the Wizards front office. The last thing he wants (or any of us want) is the front office to become complacent with just making the playoffs. He wants to win an NBA championship ...

Nats and O's

I have a question for the group:

Clearly neither of these teams are going to make the playoffs, and they both have superstars in Tejada and Soriano.

If you were the GM of either team, what would it take for you to trade away these stars?

I would have to agree with Brandon Roy. My second pick would be Rudy Gay. He was a bit inconsistant his final year in school, but he has all the intangibles to be a phenominal player. If he is selected by the right team, he could flourish.

I really think this years team has every piece in place to make a run for the Super Bowl. What this team has over every other contender is the best, most experienced coaching staff in the NFL. Not only that, the only significant player they lost from last years team was Lavar, but the addition of ...
