I am happy to see Monk finally get his just do, as a complete football player.

As I read the article, it seems the main reason PK has changed his view is that he wants to vote Irvin in but couldn't justify including Irvin and excluding Monk.

Monk has more receptions, yards receiving, and Touchdowns then Joiner, Stallworth, and Swann. In fact Monk had Receptions then Stallworth and Swann combined.

I would love to debate Peter King on this topic.

Since Peter King's only argument is Art Monk's 3 Pro Bowls, let me point out to Mr. King. 3 recent WR HOF inductees:
Charlie Joiner - 3 Pro Bowls
Lynn Swann - 3 Pro Bowls
John Stallworth - 4 Pro Bowls

Compare the stats.

You can go through the list and see there were two years John Taylor ...

Santana Moss and Sean Taylor were no shows, I think they wanted to make sure it went to one of the attendees.

Redskins Player of the Year dinner tonight...

Is anyone going? I'm excited this year's nominees:
Sean Taylor, Marcus Washington, Santana Moss, and Mark Brunnell. How Brunnell goes over Portis has me scratching my head. It's always a great event.

I think Thomas is steady, doesn't make a ton of mistakes from penalties, but he does have a tendancy to get pushed back at the line of scrimmage. He was the highest paid guard in the league 2 years ago, not sure he has played to that level but he sure beats the Kip Vickers, Larry Moore, or the end ...

I think our Special Teams coverage has been very much improved from the years prior.

I like Rock Cartwright, he is the new Otis Wonsley of Special Teams. Sellars is a close second but still has the tendancy to pick up penalties in the worst time.

Offense-Robert Royal
Defense-Walt Harris ...

Sorry to hear about your news. We had our car broken into two years ago in the same area. The cops at the time said it was a common occurance, there is a neighborhood on the other side of the fence from the Green lot that people come in and break into cars.

We started parking on the opposite ...

I agree Jake, no QB should take the sack on 4th and 10 with the game on the line.

It came down to not being able to pick up the first down and close the game out. Portis ran for 6 yards on first down and we couldn't get more then 2 yards on the next two runs. Was frustrating.

Brunnell frustrates me, when he can't hold on to the ball. Whenever he is hit he instantly fumbles ...

I did hear the TO call that was hilarious, the stadium reaction was great.

Would have been great to see TO's reaction when they made the announcement that Portis passed 5000 yards in his career.
TO blasted Philly for not recognizing his 100th TD.

With the ease of buying tickets to a 90,000 plus stadium, we'll never be able to keep all the opposing fans out, but it is great when your team can back you up and win an amazing game like last night.

As for Snyder I am convinced increasing security is not on the top of his list (unless he can ...

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying I did not have a great time watching the game and the excitement of the crowd. But that's my point. There is a game going on and your sreaming and yelling, and there are two idiots wrestling each other down the aisle.

Great Win, great atmosphere, but the league has to stop the Night Eagles/Redskins game. FedEx field is not equiped to handle the fights and fans who come down from the upper deck to stand in the aisles of the lower level. Every year the Eagles game gets progressively worse and now that the Eagles ...

My take on the Lavar situation is that Greg Williams is sending a message to Lavar and to the team, that this defense is top rated because it is a combination of TEAM players, sticking to their assignments and not freelancing.

The Bouleware PI needed to be called since they missed the blatant PI on the Flea Flicker play. The play happened right in front of us and the defender clearly shoved Cooley out of bounds.

Lavar could have made a huge impact if only as a 3rd down pass rusher.
