Anyone still wanna say that Mark Brunell is the biggest mistake Joe Gibbs has made personnel-wise? That contract that everybody was whining incessantly about looks like money pretty well spent now doesn't it?
Come on naysayers... come out and take your lump of coal. Some of you sang the tune for over a year, it's time for your plate of crow.... Brunell's not only playing well, he's playing as well as any quarterback in the league.
Honorable mention goes to Clinton Portis for of all things... blocking well AND saving a touchdown with a tackle.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
I gotta go with LaVar. he was the heart of our Defense last night (along with Marcus) He was making plays in the backfield and most importantly he got fed ex hyped up.
"Tough times don't last Tough people do."- Marcus Washington, Redskins Linebacker
"Big time Players make Big Time Plays in Big Games !!!"- Santana Moss Redskins WR during an upset by The U over Florida Sate

I never said it was Gibbs's biggest personnel mistake, but I did say Brunell sucked (because he did). He certainly doesn't this year. Even last week he had a solid performance that was hampered by dropped passes.
I thought ey had an outstanding game, except for coughing the ball up in the red zone. Since we recovered that anyway, I'd give him my game ball.
Honorable mention to the run defense for not falling for the same play eveyone else has been beating us with again.
Peerson Prioleau - game saving recovery!
D won the game, again.
Brunell was functional, some good throws but held the ball too long on the fumble... he's getting better.

Brunell certainly impressed me tonight, and showed that he could bounce back and lead his team. However, he's been doing it all season, so it's almost redundant for me to award him the TRO game ball.
So, Mike "Flippin'" Sellers gets my game ball. He is that blue-collar type guy that this team lacked for so many years. He got it done tonight, and it did not go unnoticed. Joe spoke highly about him during his press conference, and I'm convinced that he is one of our "Core Redskins".
Ah....there are too many who deserve this but I have to go with Dockery. He did penalize us I think at least once...but without that TD, we'd not be as joyous today. Great job on the recovery!
"I was on the sideline and guys were talking about the score, and then it hit me -- we won by 21. I came in the locker room and I yelled it out, and immediately I just kind of broke down in tears. Because I miss Sean, you know."
Glad to see Sellers getting some props - he's having a great year! Good call there fellas. Also, I thought Moss showed great gutts and Rabauch played very well.
I'd like to give an honorable mention to Patrick Ramsey, who has been nothing if not honorable. Did you guys notice how he's always yelling his head off supporting the team? When Prioleau jumped on that fumble, Ramsey was halfway on the field cajoling the refs to make the right call. When time was running down on the 40 second clock, he was yelling for a time-out. When Brunell came off the field after the final kneel down, he met him on the field and gave him a big bear hug.
I'm sure we're all thrilled with Brunell's play, but I am so impressed with the way Patrick Ramsey has handled himself. I wish there was a way we could keep all three QBs next year.

I'll admit I said some pretty nasty things...especially living here in Jax...but he has proved me wrong, and there is still something left in the tank.
My game-ball goes to Sellers. That cat's a beast...offense, teams, guys a contributor.

Why wouldn't there be?
Ramsey is going into his final year. I think they will get trade offers for him, and unless Brunell gets injured or retires, it would be tough to pass up. Having given up three draft picks for Jason Campbell, they need to see what he's got as well.
Given that the Skins have definately needs on the d-line and a shortage of picks, I think they'll have to deal Ramsey if the right offer comes along.
