Re: trent murphy ... whats the deal ?

Preston Smith looked like the real thing to me against the Browns. On defense, he seemed like out best player. He'll be a starter soon, maybe in time for our real game.

Re: My Thoughts About Improving The Team

I'd like to hear someone deal with the fact that we are the only team in the NFL that is in the top four in both offense and defense. That must be understood if we are going to get better. Fumbles? Interceptions? Special teams? Penalties? Inexplicable failures at critical times? Countless mental ...

Re: Whos afraid of Griffin?

Really? Even though he completed 75% of his passes and moved the offense most of the day in spite of horrid offensive line play? Honestly, at this point he just needs to move on because apparently no matter what he does it isn't going to be good enough for people here.

According to my math ...

Re: Start Cousins & Try To Make Playoffs

We get that it's your opinion, but how about giving RG and the team more than a couple of quarters in preseason to get it worked out. I'm sorry, I've watched the games, and he is no where near as horrible as you make him out to be. And the fact that you gloss over the fact that Kirk has had several ...

Re: Various Preseason Power Rankings

Dan Snyder has repeatedly hurt this franchise in many different ways - when he did it makes no difference to me

AGREED - Mike made him take steps in the right direction but IMO Dan still found a way to interfere and it hurt this club

the good news is that recently Snyder has let the club be ...

Roy Helu - RB - Redskins

CSN Washington doesn't expect Roy Helu to cut into Alfred Morris' workload in 2014.
Helu had only 62 carries as the Redskins' third-down back this past season. He doesn't project for a major role in the running game behind Morris, though new coach Jay Gruden could get him ...

Re: Trent Murphy

I don't care how he makes sacks, just that he makes them. But notice how small his shoulder pads are. Makes him look like a player who knifes between blockers rather than takes them on with power. I don't know what critics are talking about when they say he's not explosive. They must be talking ...

Unfortunately, I think Cousins' performance last year has drastically reduced his value. He was an ordinary player who threw too many interceptions.

If you start rejecting NFL players because they have mental health issues, you wouldn't be able to field a team.

I do not understand this infatuation about arguments about any proof on the existence of God.

To me, gentlemen, it is quite simple:

I have seen EVIL. I have seen some of the worst forms of EVIL. There is a lot of bad work done by the BEAST around the World.

Once you witness EVIL beyond your ...

If Mike wants to stay - it's a mistake to let him go

If Mike wants to be fired because Dan does not support him - it's a shame

If Mike is being forced to leave because of Dan's failure to support him - it's a clear indication of how bad our owner really is

hopefully - Mike wants to leave and ...

Re: A Summary of how I think the Redskin mess unfolded

The seeds of our destruction were planted at the beginning when Shanny spent huge time, energy, and money to switch to the 4-3, which we were not equipped to run, and consequently refused to develop the offensive line to an acceptable degree. Other bad decisions followed, and some bad luck, but the ...

I'm not convinced by Cousins. He throws too many interceptions, generally, and continued that today against maybe the worse, or next to worse, team in the NFL. How many yards would RG3 have piled up today?

Re: Pastor Turned Atheist

Check into Wikipedia for info on the god Mithra. Note the obvious, also the need for Augustine to create the dogma that Satan invented Mithra (the early model for Christ) to confuse Christians in a time to come. One of the most desperate and pathetic bits of theology ever to attend a faith.

Easy words to utter, especially if you plan to include no evidence or content. Precisely what about the Bible do you think I am in ignorance of? I first started studying it in 1951 and have won major literary awards as a "Christian" author, in spite of my skepticism, picked up long before I attended ...

Are you suggesting that the Bible is not the "living" word of God? Oh, my. Maybe it's just a collection of old fantasies, myths, poems, delusions, cruel stupidities, half-assed histories, etc. thrown together uncritically by bronze age Jerry Falwells.

Just wondering: Why all this salvation stuff didn't make it into the Old Testament, nor did heaven as a place to go when you die, especially if the Bible is all knowing and infallible, like the Pope. The Hebrews believed in Sheol, the place of the dead, where everyone loses all identity and knows ...

Re: Trade Rg3 while his stock is still high

Maybe no one noticed, but Robert was great against the Giants. 24 for 32 should have been 30 for 32. Six passes dropped. He also gained over eighty yards on the ground and achieved a PR over 100. We lost because of sins of others, including referees. If this is the way he continues to play, he ...

RG3 should have been 30 for 32. Six passes dropped, and a bad snap hands over a touchdown. Those epic failures and the stunning lack of blocking on running plays is what beat us.
