Hello Redskin faithful been awhile since I've posted.
Anyway, I really don't understand all the talk about a qb. If the skins build the offensive line to what it once was (Mark Rypien days) then the qb shouldn't matterThe offensive line is where it's won and lost.
Give any qb in this league time ...

It's been along time since I've posted. But I have to comment. Why do we need to resort to trick plays. That is not football!!!!!Trick plays once a year fine. But it's like thats the only way Zorn feels like we can score. Sadly enough he may be correct.

- Gibbs loves experienced QB's , This was mentioned earlier.

- Cilllins knows the system better than Saunders himself.

-Collins is getting rid of the ball and not taking allot of sacks or throwing interceptions

-The team is rallying behind Gibbs, Collins and Taylors passing.

-Not sure ...

I agree with you guys on the injury concern.
But what about having momentum going into the playoffs.

Personally I think that if you are going to spend allot of money on a player it should be on the offensive line. If you are going to build a team you should start at the offensive line. If you have a dominate o-line then it will make your qb,rb,wr, and your whole D better. It's not a flashy position ...

Maybe their thinking of making him a DE. Doesn't sound like a very good pick for a TE.

Should be a super special teamer. He's from Va Tech. I know in college
he made some killer hits on folks...

I don't know guys, I think I like the deal. We get Briggs and with the 31st pick we will be able to get one of the top three or four DE or DT in the
draft. I really don't think that eight Defensive lineman will have been chosen by pick 31.

I agree. I think the coaching staff brought JC along just right and now it will pay dividends. Everyone will be healhy and excited. Keeping the players healthy is the hard part. I would definitely predict the playoffs and once your in who knows what can happen at that point...

Great replys. I was actually affaid I was going to get hammered for asking the question. Personally ,I think I would go for Irvin here for the simple fact his attitude towards winning. This is not to say Monk didn't want to win in any way, but I like the more emotional players.

I was actually referring to his running style ,and not how many times he fumbled it on the turf...Just to clear it up a lil.

I think it's safe to say that unless someone is willing to give us a Herschel Walker type deal. Both will be back. They are both extremely valuable to our organization. What does it matter. We only throw screen passes anyway. Hell we could sign a high school QB to throw those routes. This is ridiculous.

I felt the offense performed great. I'm just glad the refs blew the fumble call. Those three points proved to be very big for us today.
