Re: Your draft board at #5

I really think Vic Beasley is going to be a beast as a pass rusher. If we stay at #5, that's where I'd go.

It may sound crazy but in all honesty, it's possible. If you think about it, and I don't know players that are going to be in the draft yet but I would address it this way:

1st Round - Best LT - or if they are gone, trade down to the lower 1st round, get any additional pick offered and get a Guard ...

Re: Play Calling! Play Calling! Play Calling!

I dont want to here my fellow Redskins fans blame Campbell anymore. He is what he is and that is a mediocore QB that is steadily improving and has a lot of potential. Zorns play calling is so predictable and our qb is held hostage in this offense. We finally have size at the wr position and yet ...

Yeah that's one take on it. Another take is that Riggins just isn't afraid to tell it like it is.

And yeah Riggins was running behind the best o-line in the league. Not sure where they were when Riggins was plowing over Don McNeal in Super Bowl XVII.

John Riggins has earned the right to ...

Re: Dallas and other's in the NFC East

I see the Redskins as the last place team in the NFC East. There is no way that the roster of the Redskins is even close to the others. The coaching staff is subpar at best, the front office is subpar period. There is no way that the Redskins finish any better than 5-11 thought at first 6-10. But I ...

I'm with you "gregory smith" about time for OL chemistry to work and think something should be done now. And someone in Denver agrees with me about Portis and his injuries or he would still be playing there. At this point in his career I don't think any other team would pick him up as their primary ...

Why should we be upset about "losing" our third round pick. Wouldn't we have used it to draft a player?

Isn't that what we just did? You can argue about whether it's too high or not, but we didn't just lose a pick. We used a pick (something we tend not to do).

And the silver lining, some ...

If we needed Thomas to start all year we would have seen comparable numbers from him. But coming in as a rookie he's just not going to displace Moss and ARE.

We didn't need him to replace ARE or Moss, but I think that we certainly did need him to do more as a rookie. Outside of Moss and ARE, we ...

The only thing I'll say is that there is decent OT depth in the draft if they want to pick up a 4th or even use their fifth.

I agree, Brad. There's still some decent o-line prospects left to be had.

But after some thought, I agree with Jake in that we really needed depth at the CB position. As ...
