First of all, the Giants have a serious need at the linebacker spot and LA was pretty damned quiet in that first game. I seriously doubt Gibbs or Williams would be petty enough to trade LA solely for personal reasons.

Gibbs, Saunders, and Williams are winners and have been successful wherever they have gone. It'll take another week or two to get the timing worked out on the offensive end My 2 cents As for not being able to stop the run.......

First, lets see how he does while Portis is hurt. .
You're right. about that. Every backup to a stud running back looks great at times in their limited roles. He is really athletic but I want to see him carry a full load of carries before I'm on board with the extension

Glad to hear wer're gettin' some much deserved love. I think Fauria and Betts are also gonna have a solid impact in this system both blocking and making plays. Seeing Lloyd's diving catch in that Bengals game justified my love for that trade. Dude is so freaking athletic! And he's not our best ...

We do not "respect" anything from trash like SI or the Sporting News. That stuff is not even useful for wrapping other garbage in it! You're damn right!! Those clowns had us picked as a 4 & 6 win team respectively last year. I can't remember how many "experts" were sayin' that CP was not a Gibbs ...

Did you used to go to the Falls? It was great to have a place where 50-100 Skins fans would congregate to watch the games, without fear of getting turned off for a Giants, Jets, Yankees playoff, or in some cases Bills game. I'll be there for the 1st preseason game and try to get the Skins fans I ...

New York fans holla!

Is there a new bar Skins fans can congregate to in the city? A new Falls? Any ideas? I've been looking into several places but it's always good to see what's crackin' with thehogs.net

Would you say that mike vanderjagt, the most accurate kickewr in the history of the NFL, sucks because he shanked the game winning field goal in one playoff game?

Point taken, F4L. I certainly wouldn't say that but Frost does makes me nervous.

I disagree. He was horrible and it seemed like he was averaging 25 yards a kick for several games. Hopefully we can land someone decent in the draft for some insurance if Hall gets hurt again. I trust Frost about as far as he can shank a punt

Ramsey's treatment in Washington was awful but I gotta agree with Riggofan that he would have a better chance of starting on a winning team than in any of the situations that may be available to him now. Brunell has been slowed down by nagging injuries for the last 2 seasons. He very well may go ...

Out with Ade, in with Abe! I don't know if a 2nd round plus Ramsey would be enough to get him. Either Ramsey plus a 1st round pick or Betts sounds more right.

Getting John Abraham would be great but I would be plenty happy if we could have added Archuleta AND kept Ryan Clark. We overpaid for a very mediocre recevier.

What about Willie McGinest? He's the type of LB that Williams could really use effectively. As far as receivers go, I would love to sign Lloyd. That cat is FAST and he would be a perfect #2 receiver!

IF our line is healthy. We definitely need more depth at the O line positions. Playcalling could definitely be better. That was pretty clear in the playoff loss to Seattle but Al Saunders should help with that.

I agree with you CLL but it's gonna be a LONG season if we dont get another WR, DE, and another OL. Those have got to be our #1, #2, and #3 priorities this offseason. Signing Clark would also be nice. I think he'll still be a solid player even if Taylor isn't there. Guys like Taylor make everyone ...

We can get more than a high 3rd round pick for Ramsey, can't we? There are so many teams with QB and backup QB issues in the league right now.
