to let it all out... Gibbs is right about one thing: The entire team s**ked.
They sat there, for 30 minutes, and let the Giants run over, through, and around them and were completely defenseless (and offenseless too). Truly unbelievable... and I thought I'd seen everything from the Redskins over ...

Wish I could look at this as positively as you do, but i don't. Although Detroit is an NFL team, they're truly pathetic, regardless of their record. We lost to a really bad team at home when we had them by 2 TDs. The only thing that might get the taste of this game out of my mouth will be beating ...

The Redskins were the visiting team in philadelphia so some other teams wear white at home as well... Philly alternates between wearing green and white jerseys... dallas has always worn white at home. miami alternates between wearing white and green jerseys. i like wearing the white jerseys at home ...

what i hate most of all...
is that I thought this team had moved beyond mindnumbing losses to really bad football teams. That was last year's modus operandi and I hoped this team would be better than that this year. Stupid coaching and pathetic execution are the only way to sum up yesterday's bumbling second half effort.

the man only had 9 yards on 7 carries... so that's your reason for using Portis vs Betts? the whole team only had 14 total yards of total offense in the entire second half a few minutes into the 4th quarter! I didn't see anybody step up and take it to the house so that's hardly a reason not to use ...

if...
the idea was to run it in, then Betts is still a good option on the goal line, at least to me... He's bigger than Portis and can take the pounding... the play just didn't work as betts tripped over sellers' feet... didn't matter... it should've never come to that... we gave one away tonight and it's ...

How exactly did Portis "stink"? He had 97 all-purpose yards and averaged 4.3 yards per carry and he scored a td also. That is hardly stinking. He also blocked really well too. Yes he fumbled, but every running back fumbles. Portis very rarely fumbles (just look at his career stats) so I'm not going ...

my point...
about Betts vs Portis is Portis had a bad game today... I think anyone can agree on that... I say with some confidence that Betts did a better than decent job backstopping Portis last year when he got hurt... Given that Portis stunk today and he was hurt, why not put Betts in?

hi
If you need this explained to you then you are pretty hopeless as a Redskins fan. Portis got the majority of the carries because he is our best running back. Yes he fumbled once. Every running back fumbles, it's part of the game. CP also scored a td today. And yes he was banged up. He hurt his ...

Is this a joke?
When you stink it up and go 5-11, there are no highlights. The highlight is the season mercifully coming to an end and you know that, hopefully, some of these lame bums won't be back in a redskins uniform next year.

Personally,
I'm in favor of defense. We didn't have one in 2006 so I'd love to see one in 2007 just to see if the results would be any different. Not sure whether it's because the coaching now sucks or the players now suck or a combination of the two. ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)

You very eloquently summed up my feelings to a T. I truly bleed burgundy and gold and have for 35 years... I can remember the first time I paid attention to a Redskins game... I don't know if I'm ready to believe that. For the most part, it looked like the same offense under Brunell, only with a taller QB.
Like you said, Campbell didn't light it up, but he certainly made a few key plays.
Now, I'm excited about the kid delivering a win as well, but if you were to ...

a quality win against a quality opponent... no question, at least in my mind, it was our best all around effort of the year. The D line is just awful, Griffin is the best we have and he is getting old I think, seems to be injured alot. We need to address the line first and foremost this offseason, offensive line too.

I'm still waiting to hear the real reason we got TJ Duckett and gave up a 3rd round draftpick to do it. I wonder if a GM with half a brain would've done that for a guy we're obviously never going to use.

He'll have a "Peytonesque" day?
against Dallas? Dream on. This season has been pretty ugly so far, but the really hideous part begins tomorrow. This team doesn't have what it takes to sack up and play good football. All they've proven so far is that last year was an aberration, that this team is really just an aging bunch of ...
