If you're volunteering, HEROHAMO, you could start a thread with links to highlight videos. That way, whenever someone searches "Redskins Highlight Videos" (or whatever you name it) they'll find that thread.

I get tired of hearing all the negitive stuff on this site, its really good to be looking at some good stuff. We should start a thread about the good stuff we like.

You are right. I already know 1niksider does alot and thank him for that. THank u 1niksider for all the hard work. Any how I could pitch in some videos but I dont know how to go about doing it. I am not a moderator. Ok I will hunt down some more footage and post them.

I find this sentiment (that is shared by some other moderators too, so I am not singling anyone out) slightly offensive.

When you make a suggestion and put it in the company suggestion box they don't expect you to head up the project.

I don't see why someone shouldn't be able to suggest something cool for the site and ask the moderators if it's possible. It's not like they are heaping any work on you or making demands. They're just saying "it might be a cool addition to the site if..."

No need to get defensive.

I do not feel that the statement was defensive at all. It is a call to implement a good idea.

It is a call to add to the work put in by the admin and the staff. For one, I think that a thread with all links to videos would be great while not adding a heavy banwidth load here. Nothing wrong with that and everybody could pitch in. :idea:

That's a terrible analogy, this isn't a company, this is a site manned by people who volunteer to do the things they do. So when someone says "Hey, this site should have X" they are, essentially, volunteering someone else to do it. It's not defensive, it's a reminder. I notice you totally skipped the post where I linked to the donate button.

In the time it took to post this, you could have googled a pretty good video to link in this thread. Even if it was a bad video at least you would have contributed something to the thread. :shock:

As long as we are dumping work on volunteers, I think there should be a self-service soft drink dispenser availible, as well.

I'm sure that Fios would have no problems taking responsibility for keeping it up and running.
