Wow, 12th looks pretty good with no rushing TD. I'm very interested to see how Seattle plays us now that the deep threat card has been played.
We win this game and at least one more team drops out of the NFL undefeated ranks and I think credit is coming to DC by even the critical media outlets ...
atoning for giving up that game-ending TD last year.
I think this could be a big game for Taylor as well. He'll be very aware of the rookie mistake that cost us that game. Instead of trying to kill the possession receiver every time he will balance his game in lieu of last year.
I didn't factor this in yet either. I'd say the advantage is def on our side due to the fact that it is much easier to mask/adjust your schemes as a coach then it is to un-learn tedencies at the QB position.
I'd love to say this will be the diference maker but prob not. This game will be decided ...
personally, neither have overwhelmingly proved they deserve the starting spot over the other one... if we're basing it on yesterdays game... Ramsey's drives were INT, FUMBLE RECOVERED PUNT, LOST FUMBLE... Brunell atleast didn't make stupid mistakes, and we drove down the field 3 times with him in ...
if or when ramsey proves he can't do it, i'm on the brunell train. i just don't see that he's proven that to me yet.
This is an interesting perspective and in the end you may be correct. At this point I disagree because it is starting to look like Ramsey has a knack for grouping a certain ...
I'm guilty of jocking Ramsey in the past but I'm pretty convinced that he does not have to ability to limit his mistakes at this point. Once again that first INT was horrible.
Brunell is not Manning but I see hop in his step and he actually throws the ball away when nothing it there.
I thought it was great when...after Patrick got hurt, while our fans were still booing the call...
There definitely was an air of 'how long is this BS going to happen' in the stadium. The section up where I was was just going off. It seemed to get everyone going everytime the D got their hands ...
he didn't put on an extra 20 pounds for nothing...
When Portis broke into the secondary on that long run I was so sure he was going to the house -- a la' Bucs game last year. Putting on those pounds was necessary for our running game but I couldn't help but think he would have gotten to ...
From my seat it was clear the fans (as you expected) just went buck everytime he came in. On those few plays I remember the D waking up and playing with a little more intensity (even if they did give up a play they hit like men).
Oh yeah I'll definitely be there. I'm looking forward to this as well. I'm wearing my '04 Pro Bowl Lavar jersey while the rest of the family will have regular Skins colors on -- hope to meet everyone there.
