Keyshawn Johnson de-activated for rest of year

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Keyshawn Johnson de-activated for rest of year

Post by Justice Hog »

Wassup with those Bucs? Johnson is gone for the rest of the year. Don't be surprised when you see him in a different uniform next year!

Bruce, but he whined so he got to start. You know... there was one momentous occasion in the Panthers game - Bruce actually made a tackle on a running back WHILE he was running the ball to the left.

By the way HS - you better hope I don't have another week like this last one in FFL... you won't be in second for long :)

I think moves like this one by Tampa indicate:
a) why they won a super bowl and
b) why Gruden is so well respected.

Here's an organization that obviously supports their coach WHATEVER choices he makes. KJ is a poison, and now he got what he's deserved since he got to the league... fired (essentially).

Huge spine on the Bucs organization.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Agreed

I really hate the "me first me now" attitude shown by prima donnas. It isn't enough that they get paid millions.

My understanding from the report I heard was that KJ was seen backing out of Gruden's office saying he wasn't ever gonna play for him again and he wouldn't play for him next year and that was a couple of weeks ago.

Apparently, according to the show I was listening to, they waited til Jurevicius was back to inactivate the whiner.

According to the reporter that broke the story (even to KJ because he had been travelling) most of the team was shocked but not surprised.
