Kearse

Post by Texas Hog »

Was it just me or did anyone else notice how many times Javon was supposedly hurt? I don't think I've ever seen a player with that many dings in one game, come back play after play like he's was just fine.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

Corey Simon did it a lot this year. Hugh Douglas did it every game two years ago.

Kearse did get banged around a lot, but we needed him out there. We had to go deep into the depth chart just to put a 4 man line out there.

Yeah, and this from a guy that was supposedly injury prone! He was huge presence in that game. I can't tell if it was him, or our O-line, that was making up for the fact that they only had one of four starters on the D-line. He was like a one man wrecking crew.

I was left with one impressin of Kearse... he is a FANTASTIC player... but he's a drama queen.

I'm sure i'm going to hear 'you just don't understand how tough he is'... well yeah... actually... I understand toughness. And though I'm sure he has it... he's like the little hockey player with the amazing skills... man the kid can play, but he has to make a hollywood production out of everything.

Still wish he was a Redskin drama queen though.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Still a factor BUT not like he used to be! He has the ability but does not seem to really "want it" like he used to.

I am convinced that this team can be very competitive with some similar talent on our team (but playing with desire).

We are only a few lineman (O & D) and a couple of other additions from being close to V. good.

I saw a lot of character the last few weeks against some decent teams and now we can hopefully close it out on a succesful note!
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Well said, all the way around.

I agree GF, you did need him out there, as the DL was/is getting really thin.

Drama queen? I just don't see it. Not after a season of Corey "and there's a player down on the field" Simon.

Reminds me of Emmitt Smith.

I didn't follow him closely (he played for the New York Titans????? Golly...I thought the last of them retired when Don Maynard quit...), but if this is he discount package of Kearse, then the Titan fans had themselves a treat.

A great player.

You are going to have some big problems against a team with a strong OL. One side of me would like to see Andy Reid, McNabb and Kearse (with an NFC East team) win it all. the other just gets me back into my senses when I think of TO and -many- (but not all) P. fans.

Seriously, P. may be too banged up to go all the way against Pittsburgh, New England or even Indianapolis. Atlanta and GB may put a good physical fight in the meantime. Maybe not enough to win but sufficient to decimate your team even further.

We already slapped around the Packers, they're no threat. We beat them last year with no defensive line, no Westbrook, no Kearse, and no Owens.

I don't want to say they're a joke, but Brett Favre walked in to a bar ...

Over-confidence is the right medicine. keep on preaching, chances are if not Andy Reid, TO might actually believe you.
