The NBA Season.

Post by TheMagicThree »

I'll root for the Wizards, even though.. they'll probably win 15 games this year. But, I'll also root for my man.. Dirk Nowiztki. He's from Wurzburg, a little ways out from my birthplace in Nuremberg.

Your take?
Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.
Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must
Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.

I was an old Bullets fan from many years back, but lost the urge to root for them when they changed their name.

Go Spurs and Rockets! :)
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

I root for the Bullets since they have my favorite college player of all time, as well as my second favorite college player of all time. Ironically, they both played for the same college team.

Is that the deal? Old fans still call them the Bullets?

What a stupid thing to change the name....p/c b.s.

I go back and forth. I just think that it was a mistake to change the name and they ARE still the Bullets, just wrapped in a new package. I call them wizards sometimes and sometimes I call them the Bullets

I'm with JansenFan on that one. I mostly refer to them as the Bullets but in some situations call them wizards. They'll always be the Bullets to me.
The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject.

Has anyone ever had the guts to request that the name be changed back? What was the excuse for changing it in the first place?

They change the name because the "Bullets" apperal was the clothing of choice for local gang Memebers.

My question is what if the Wizards logo was the next choice?? :? :?
