Blurbs to Remember from Post about Taylor

Post by Rogue187 »

One offensive player said that three weeks ago the team conducted a players-only meeting called by a few veterans when the Redskins were in the midst of a four-game losing streak. According to two players present, one issue that came up was the need to avoid the lure of Washington's nightlife during the season. A few Redskins players, including wide receiver Laveranues Coles and linebacker LaVar Arrington, said they intended to counsel Taylor, who had never lived outside Miami before moving to Washington.

It seems that the coaching staff has no control over the players. Isnt that what I have always said about the nightlife and the skins. Also how you gonna counsel someone when you doing the same thing they are doing.

WOW

Dude, I've noticed every one of your postings is negative.

I agree with "DOC" Walker when he said, "the punishment did not fit the crime. The NFL couldn't make him miss a game, how did Joe pull it off?"

He could go to the NFLPA and get reinstated by tomorrow. This according to NFL officials and the "DOC."

I would leave Taylor out of the game this sunday because he missed a practice not because he got the DUI but either way Joe does it I agree with, the man knows people and knows how to handle them

Gibbs didn't suspend him he inactivated him. As a coach he can do that.

Even if he had been suspended and then reinstated he would step foot on the feild during the game and who knows how long he'd be in Gibb's doghouse
