My new least favorite NFL Player

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

My new least favorite NFL Player

Post by NikiH »

TO is horrible. He may play well but I hope aside from him being a visitor, he never enters Redskin's territory. Players make big money and he had no right to tear down that fan's sign. I think the league needs to fine him. I've never seen a better example of unsportsmanlike conduct. What a jerk!

If I was the fan I'd grabbed his facemask. We ahve to do something to T.O. when he comes to FedEx!

Lemme have a piece of that facemask too. Think we could pull him into the stands? :0)

Sorry it took so long to get back to you JP. He scored a touch down and someone had put up a derogatory sign about him on the wall. He went over and ripped it down. They called the penalty for unsportsman like conduct but he was such a jerk about it he deserves for the Browns fan's to kick his uppity butt. How arrogant is that fool. I have never wished anyone harm on the football field but it's going to be tough not to wish it on him each and everytime I see him play now.

I saw the one with him spiking the ball at the sign that read: "T.O. has B.O." Or something of that matter.. I want more than the facemask..

i don't see the big deal .... people can put up signs saying anything about a player ...but if a player rips it down he should get a fine ??
no i don't really like T.O. BUT THE MAN CAN PLAY !!! he is fun to watch.
the one sure way to stop all his nonsense is to stop him from scoring T.D.'s .....but can anyone do that ???
TOUCHDOWN .....WASHINGTON REDSKINS !!!!

LOL. Fairly creative, fans sticking up for their QB. Nothing wrong with that.

As far as the fine, TO is a professional athlete who makes millions off of the fans. If the NFL allows the players to openly disrespect the fans by things like this, than where does it stop. I agree he should be fined. He is in an opposing team's stadiuym and is therefore subject to all of the things that go with it. If he wasn't such a loud mouth, there wouldn't be any signs about him like that. If you are going to talk the talk, you have to walk the walk. If you can't take it, don't give. add your own cheesy cliche here.

I thought it was hilarious what the sign said. "T.O. has B.O." ROTFALMAO I thought it sucked that he tore down the sign but I could understand him being angry at the sign actually being up and blasting him. I know he deserves it and is a big star and should handle himself better but he probably got mad seeing it.

I remember Antonio Bryant tearing down a Redskins blanket at the Skins-Boys game in 2002 at FedEx Field. The blanket was on their SIDELINE. It wasn't like it was in the endzone and he scored. He walked over and took it down. That ticked me off. Now he's with the Browns. I bet that brings back memories.

I was thinking more or less along the lines of Todd Franz.

Oh, Owens is most definitely NOT overrated. The guy is a killer, and has made Philly into quite a little team.

That said, I still like Coles' potential, if Joe can figure out how to maximize it.

If this is what an "overrated" WR's numbers look like...
Admit it. He's a fantastic receiver. He's just not a good guy to be around, that's all.

I know he is good but his personality ruins all of his talent for me. I don't appreciate seeing anything the man does because of his attitude.

Football players don't live off numbers alone there are things other recievers have done
that T.O hasn't

Most recpetion yards after the catch most TD catches by a reciever

How about my favorite winning a super bowl isn't that what this game is all about?

T.O. can have all the numbers in the world with out the title there meaningless

Take Keyshawn for example Keyshawn trails Owens by not much in every catagory

Yet Keyshawn has a ring and Owens doesn't does that make Owens better?

of course not if you really think Owens isn't overated. then that is your opinion but until I see more then just numbers next to his name

He will all ways be overated in my book

Jealous of what? a reciever who just puts up numbers and never helps get his team a ring?

I'd take Michael Irvin over T.O. any day of the week Art Monk, Bob Hayes, Jerry Rice

the game is about winning the ring not about being second best

Ok first of all this season is TO's first with the Eagles. So you can say all of that BS at the end of the season if they don't have a ring. Darn you Cowboys fan, you made me defend TO. :-( Go away!
