Turn out the lights.....

Post by HitDoctor »

The party's over! Overall, they are playing better than they did under SS, but don't expect the defense to keep up their play all season if the offense remains inept.

Your exactly right HitDoctor , we aren't gonna win games by fields goals in the red zone and 3 and outs.

I don't think it's Gibbs play calling, it seems more like inept playing by the offense.

Portis is a major dissappointment thus far! He should sit, but theyare paying him all ofthat money (typical of the Snyder era).

Portis sit?? You kidding right...I was totally against bringing Portis here, but I would never suggest to sit him...I see it more as sitting some of the o-linemen. Portis can take it to the house on any carry!

I wasn't a big fan of the trade, but you HAVE to play Portis. If we had a QB that could throw the ball downfield and actually look someone off, POrtis would be on fire. Brunell needs to sit the pine and let Ramsey take his lumps...again. To lose to the Browns may be the low point of my life....they are terrible and we got ran over. just sad

The lowpoint of my life is losing to the cowboys the last 13 of 14 games.

Anyway, can't sit P-Mobile. There was some talk on WTOP (from Frank Herzog) about the Browns LBs being able to call where he was going to run each play. Not good. Joe will have to fix that. But Po'tis will have to quit coughing up the ball. And don't get down on Brunell. He's looking better each game. Better to have a vet who knows when to throw downfield than Ramsey who at this point is interception prone. It is only 4 games into a season where half of the roster was turned over. If they are doing this type of stuff at the end of the season then it may be time to panic...but for now let em learn...

EXACTLY!! Let our future learn. We are going nowhere in the NFC East. Bottom of te frigging barrel. Let's let Patrick throw pics if that is what it takes for him to realize that our line will give him the time and he doesn't need to panic. If he doesn't learn now, next year will be upon us with an even older stater at QB that will have even less in his tank. If we don't like the way Ramsey looks by the end of the season, shop around or draft a QB. Brunell is NOT the answer.

i would sit brunell put patrick ramsey in to learn this offense.for portis gotta hold onto the ball if your gonna get yards and you have to hold onto the ball to keep the other team(s) from stealing a potential win from us -aka cleveland game. but with all that said portis stays in the backfield but the ball needs to stay with him when he takes it to the house.

keeping the faith one week at a time.
