Browns Game

Post by Champsturf »

I'm headed up to Cleveland Oct. 3 for my first time ever seeing the burgandy and gold right before my eyes. And in the 24th row at that.
To all of you that are going, I hope to see you there. I'll be tailgaiting -drinking with some friends of mine and I'll be one of the VERY few Redskin jerseys. It may be a Bailey jersey, unless I get around to buying a Taylor one by then.

Anyway, I hope to see you all there and let's get some momentum going by beating the crap out of Dallas Monday night. :celebrate:

Well... I think I will be at the game with Photo Hog. I'm just ironing out some details.

I will be in attendance with the Hogettes, and I will post more details as I have them.

I hope I can meet a few of you there.

What I'm wearing is up in the air... there's a rumor going around that yours truly may be bestowed the honor of honorary Hogette.

Stay tuned.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Glad to see that at least 2 more Skins fans will be there in addition to me  Why not more?????

Anyway, I have a question to ask of you all:
I was talking to my buddy (who is a Browns fan) and was telling him that I was going to wear my Skins jersey. He thought that that was a bad idea. :thump: He remembers going to a game in which there were guys wearing Ravens jerseys and they got messed with HARD.. Beer bottles being thrown at them and such. I was thinking it might have to do with being a division rival or something. Maybe even the location of te seats (fairly high up). I'm just under 6' and about 190 lbs. Not a big guy, but not tiny either. If I was sitting with my buddy, I wouldn't worry about it at all. He's a rather large fellow and a Browns fan, as stated earlier. The guy I will be sitting with is impartial. He's actually a Lions fan (going incogneto). Let me know what you all think. I KNOW I'll be wearing it tailgaiting, just wondering about gametime. :feedback;

:hmm: It might have had somethink to do with the fact that the Ravens at one point were the Browns....
Check out the attitudes while tailgating and make your decision from the reaction you get pre-game

Dudes.... (hopefully your dudes, but I hear alot of crying in here).... When was the last time a fan died at a NFL game? :hmm: I can't recall... Or even where they seriously got the crap beat out of them? :hmm:... I can't remember......

If you go in, wearing your colors and run your mouth off, then yes people are gonna "mess" with you..... They might even talk alittle trash to you if you don't say anything at all.... you just gotta learn to laugh it off.....

If you go in wearing your colors, be respectful to their house..... Cheer when the skins do good.... and don't run your mouth constantly.... I think you gentleman will be just fine... ;) If guys in dresses and pig noses are gonna be there.... I'm sure you'll be fine in your jersey...

I think I'm going to wear mine. I liked 1niksder's idea. I'm going to feel the situation out. Thanks BTP for your words of belittlement and encouragement. I could care a less about trash talking. I wouldn't do that to them, unless my Browns friend was there, I just didn't want to get into a fight and ruin my first ever Skins game.

Thanks guys for your help and input.

In most places, I say wear your colors proudly. In Philly, I recommend that you don't. You will likely be physically assaulted....no joke.

And don't bring your poodle either. They'll laugh at it's haircut, then throw snowballs at it.
