Barrows Achilles Heel...

Post by REDEEMEDSKIN »

...is a torn tendon in his thigh, as heard on WTEM.

Brunell did practice today, but no word on what he's done in practice today.

I just heard he may be used in limited action. From the recent report, it seems that the whole "thigh issue" is old news.

I'd go with Jaske on this one.

You have enough to worry about with trying to get DMac in the game. :D

We'll be alright either way. Barrow, though, is becoming a pretty pricy benchwarmer, though.

Yeah, SkinsChic, I know you're probably trying your best--but keep begging the Skins to put DMac into the game, we really seem to need him.

Then again, all the guy does is catch touchdowns. . .how much could that help?

Not much, I think we'd rather have someone in there who'll drop the catches instead and cause the defense to be worn out by the 3rd qtr because of all the 3 and outs.

i do'nt know why the hell they signed the guy.
he has'nt played in one game, preseason or reg.season.trotter or armistead would have been just as good.

Come on guys he is going to be good for us trust me, since we have pierce playing good no need to rush him, when he comes back our defense is going to be that much better. Y put him out there so he can get hurt and be out longer?

Q: Are you optimistic Mike Barrow can play this week?
A: "He's practicing and hopefully we can take it day by day without a setback. Hopefully he'll be able to play some snaps this game."

I think it's time Barrow took his diapers off and got ready to play.

:-)

Because he's a hell of a linebacker. 148 tackles last year. He has the workout regimen of a 25 year old. He didn't plan on being hurt. And we got him at a "bargain." We tried to sign him in March but he wanted too much and then we signed him in April after he lowered his price tag.

Jake, I also get the impression that he really understands the new defensive schemes very well and is a very emotional and inspirational leader for the other players.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
