TAILGATING AT THE DALLAS GAME

Post by Justice Hog »

To my fellow Hogs.Net tailgaters out there (DEHog, HailSkins666, etc.)

I just saw on Redskins.com that the tailgate area will be open an hour earlier for Monday night's game - opening at 4:00 p.m. instead of 5:00 p.m..

Be sure to get there early so we can get our prime spot!

As for the rest of you going to the game, please please stop by our tailgate at Red Lot #4!! It'll be a blast!!!!

i"m going to try to stop by your tailgate.

Lots of factors in play, but you guys (and girls) seem like a great crowd to tip a few with.

Hope to see you.

I hope to stop by (again) but I'm jumping in a car with folks who park/tailgate near A60 - like a mile from the red lot. If we get there early enough, I'll make the trek on over!!

Hey I got a ticket from my work, so I don't think they will be tailgating much. Whats the deal with food, booze, etc. Can I just throw in some cash for some beers? Just wondering, either way I'll try to stop by. Cheers

I got a plan. Park at Landover Mall. Take an everyday Metrobus to the Landover station. Then take the Redskins shuttle to the lot. Then walk OUT of the lot back to my car at the mall.

(Unless they repeal the no-walking law again ....)

There's no chance that I'd go to the game.
dude. if you wanna attend the tailgate..... BUY A FREAKIN TICKET! stop your pathetic beggin on the site. i bust my ass on the job DAILY, and i'm paying out the ass, then driving 5 hrs to be at the freakin games. why the hell can't you "pay" your way in?

you don't want to pay for tickets? the cash lots are $25. park, attend the tailgate, and LEAVE.

holy shiznit, if you show up at the TG holding your hand out, everyone there is going to stare a hole through you until you put a little $$$ in the "donation jar", then you MIGHT get a hot dog. WTF? should someone else pay for your ride in, and their burden of going out of the way to pick you up, so you can show up? don't think so. tickets are on ebay, so are parking passes. i even heard metro does it for five bucks, round trip. happy hunting for a sucker.

I don't beg. That's all I say on that because this thread doesn't deserve to be moved to the Smack forum.

I'll be a fully contributory participant -- cash, food, whatever -- but I can't do the game. There's nothing that says that only game-goers are the only ones who cna tailgate.

JH, DE, H666,

It's not looking good for me to Tailgate. My flight doesn't get into Dulles until 6:30pm, and I'll be stopping in Centrevill to change. After that, we're headed straight out to the Stadium. If I don't hook up this time, I'll catch you soon.

Oh, and btw: I found Scrapple at the local foodstore up here. I even bought some. It's thawing out right now and I'll let you know the verdict tomorrow. :-)

I'm very jealous of you all.

I am very pleased to announce that there will be Hogettes in attendance for our tailgating this week, along with a special guest. You can read more about it in today's Cheap Seats, but DEHog will also probably start a thread on it in the Game Day forum some time this evening.

So stay tuned for more info on this very exciting event.

Yeah, I'm a little more jealous now.

But I hope a lot of you can make it out and meet these great guys and some of the great people that help bring you this site.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Me and a buddy will be stopping by. Need to hook up with Hailskins666 so thought I'd stop by to say howdy. I know it's been posted before but where in Lot4? I think I remember it being across from the church????

If you are standing at the stadium, walk down Arena Drive to the first intersection. You will see us right accross the street on the corner of Arena drive and whatever cross street that is.

I think you're right SkinsChic.

Assuming we get our normal spot, it will be right at the corner of Jericho Road/Drive (whatever) and Arena drive [RED LOT #4.] Look for the huge THEHOGS.NET banner! You can't miss us!!

For all of you coming....if you want....feel free to PM me and I'll give you my cell phone number (so I can guide you in if need be.)

Red Lot #4 is not that big anyways.... It would be impossible not to find them unless you were 3 sheets to the wind, blind folded and someone played a trick on you and put you in Blue parking ;)

By the way, don't ask parking attendants for directions. All I had to do was walk across one parking lot and up arena drive. By asking for directions from parking lot employees, I walked almost all the way around the stadium before I found a guy who had been there for three seasons. I even asked the guy standing at Arena drive and he told me to keep walking. bastiches.
