Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Does MNF stand for Monday Night Favre? I know the guy is a great qb, arguably one of the best. But the coverage he gets on national tv is sickening to watch.
Does Madden get $100 everytime he says his name?
Even when the defense makes a great play, the cameras cut to Favre to catch his reaction.
God forbid Favre is reckless with the football and throws an interception. The only thing said is, "That was un-Favre like."
Madden should learn that football is a TEAM game.

Did Favre get this much "love" from the media before his cameo in There's Something About Mary?
Anyway, all Madden ever talks about is Farve, even when the Packer's aren't even playing on MNF, so it's no surprise they showed him a lot. They generally show players being discussed by the announcers.

Funny you should mention his cameo in "There's Something About Mary?" Steve Young was originally cast in that part, but backed out because of his religious beliefs.

Favre is a GREAT QB, one of my favorites, he is a great, strong-spirited, stoic QB, I say that every second he gets on TV is deserving of him.

I'm not saying he isn't (wasn't) a great qb. What I am saying is the attention he gets during a game is disgusting.
Ahman Green deserves more accolades now than Brett Favre. Without Green, the Packers don't even sniff the playoffs last season.
These announcers talk about Favre like he can walk on water. It just annoys me.

Same goes with Favre. Without him... no playoffs. But I do agree Green is underrated and deserves more credit.

I'm so glad I get to see him play, before he retires!

What, you don't think Doug Pederson can pick up Favre's slack?

Nah, I was kinda hoping to see Tim Couch lead them to a Super Bowl.
Oh wait, I guess that can't happen now.
