Need a little help in DE

Post by DaveSkin »

Folks,

I am going to be spending a fair number of weekends in Bethany Beach, DE (Sussex county) the next few months. There is Mediacom cable at the house, basic package. For the life of me I can't find any indication of whether or not they will carry the 'Skins games that aren't national. Anyone from that area know for certain? Mediacom itself is no help at all. I picked up the preseason games through the local Comcast feed. Thanks!

Check TVGuide.com and put in your zip code then check week to week. That's what I have to do here in NC. I usually know if it's a head to head time slot with Carolina Panthers, I will be going to the local pub.

Sussex County usually carries the Redskins, since they aren't in the Philly market. Just check the local Fox station.

Thanks NC43Hog - that did the trick! I get to see the game!

PS - thanks DESkins too. I was worried when it seemed like Comcast (which had HORRIBLE broadcasts) were the only channel to pick up the preseason games. At my home in Ashburn I get all the games, regular and preseason.

DESkins is correct. My parents have a place in Lewes, DE and when I went down there...I learned that the local FOX station broadcasts Skins game....unlike northern DE.

My parents have a place near bethany and my in-laws in fenwick. I rarely have been able to catch the 'Skins games there unless it's nationally televised.
