Samuels to Rest Knee; Arrington Back

Left tackle Chris Samuels will sit out Friday night's preseason finale against the Atlanta Falcons as he continues to rest his sprained right ankle. Marcus Spriggs, Jim Molinaro and Mark Wilson are among the candidates to take his place in the starting lineup.
Samuels did not practice this week, but has said all along that he expects to be ready for the regular season.

Meantime, two defensive starters in LaVar Arrington and Phillip Daniels are expected to return to the field. Arrington has missed the last two games with a knee injury and Daniels will be making his Redskins debut after being sidelined with an abdominal injury.

Samuels is among seven players expected to sit out Friday's game due to injury. The others are: running backs Rock Cartwright (shoulder injury) and John Simon (hamstring injury), offensive lineman Randy Thomas (neck strain), linebackers Mike Barrow (knee tendinitis) and Chris Clemons (knee injury) and tight end Fred Baxter (knee injury).

Barrow will be replaced in the starting lineup by Antonio Pierce, who is making his fourth start of preseason. Thomas is expected to be replaced by veteran Ray Brown.

Im going to worry during this game. Lavar and Daniels are back in, and I hope they dont reaggravate any of their injuries.

What in the world do they have our RB's doing? They all keep getting injured, is it the milk?
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!
