1) The Austin Powers "Trilogy" (Pt. 1 was the best of the three.)
2) Lord of the Rings I-III
3) The Princess Bride
4) Batman (1989?)
5) Major League
6) The Karate Kid

oh yeah.... "The Passion of the Christ". Nearly made me "religious".

Should be catagorized, since it's hard to throw fun movies into the same light as serious film, but here are some off the top of my head:

To Kill a Mockingbird

The Deer Hunter

Sophies Choice

The Color Purple

C00l Hand Luke

Animal House

The Wizard of Oz

Rudy

Saving Private Ryan

Shawshank Redemption

The Green Mile

StarStruck (1983 Australian film)

I'm surprised that Pantera:3 - Vulgar Videos From Hell
Image
and Slayer - War at the Warfield

didn't make your list. Wasn't there also a Cowboys from Hell Pantera video? Excellent selections for a quiet evening with your lady.

I didn't know this thread was going to be so character revealing!

Oceans 11 (the remake with Clooney)

Three Kings (I have nothing for Georgo Clooney, I just like these two movies, I swear)

I love The Green Mile NC, but it may be because I read the books first.

Bridget Jones Diary (also read the book first, which made it better)

Pearl Harbor (the mushy part left something to be desired, but the story of the war, even semi-fictional, was fascinating)

I'm sure I'll come up with more. But that's all I can think of right now!
Whenever I start to get blue, I just breathe!

My favortie line from the Simpsons:

Flanders: "Looks like someone is having a pre-rapture party!"

Homer: "No Flanders, it's a meeting of gay witches for abortion , you wouldn't be interested!"

someone has already mentioned it, but i forgot to add pulp fiction into the mix as one of my favs. i used to have marcellus wallaces speech to bruce willis after he asked, "what now?" as my sig, when i first joined. but boss made me change it because it received so many complaints within the first 48 hrs it was up. this was in my pre-staff days.

Any Tarintino movie.

Goodfella's

Saving Pvt. Ryan

Platoon

Full Metal Jacket

The Longest Yard, (I have a soft spot for The Replacements since it was based on the Redskins replacement team.)

Alien 1&2

Deep Thro...well maybe not that one.

The Right Stuff

I have many other's but will stop here for now.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. Plus, I love the whole "wiry" kicker character. That movie was great.
