Who Played for the Skins vs Dolphins?

Post by GoSkins »

Does anybody have a list of who started, who played, and for how long last Saturday night? Besides those injured were there any noticeable absences? Just trying to get a handle on how the 65 man roster (on 8/31) is starting to take shape.

CurveBall - "It might be YOUR biggest game of the year but it really doesn't seem to be as big a deal for Dallas fans anymore."

Oopsies! What's that taste like?

He finally defended a pass didn't?

G. Wilds? Isn't that the rookie CB on our rosteR? I like him a lot, if I got his name right, I'd start him ahead of Bauman. Bauman has not improved one bit since he was drafted.

He was lucky he didn't drawn a foul on that play, IMO.

Yeah, Bauman hasn't impressed lately but he has been injured. So that's why he's had no PT.

I wouldn't start Garnell Wilds ahead of him. Yeah, while the rundown of Fred Russell on that one long kickoff return did show his speed and impress me a little bit, Russell should have never been able to run past our special teams like that. It did remind me of Darrell Green running down Dorsett, though.

Garnell Wilds is a heck of a battler - I got a chance to see him at Virginia Tech where he was a backup for Hall. He did have several good games and is known for making some nice hits in the secondary - there were a few times when he popped up out of no where and picked a QB off... we would be like "where the heck did he come from"

I don't know about Bauman... he did ok last year when he came in... I thought, personally, that he had improved some, but it looks like he backslid back again.

The only problem I have with Garnell is that he played in the wide tackle 6 at Tech and that the secondary played well off the receivers and what we saw last year - the WR catching the ball and not getting hit because the DB was 5 yards away - is a similar style to what Tech plays....

Some of the catches that have been made right in front of Wilds have been for that reason - he plays off and the guy reads it and hooks in instead of going long - boom - reception.

Tough read
