Sean Taylor!?!

Post by hkHog »

Wow, how good is this guy!? He just destroyed Chambers! I know it's early but so far he's our best player. He's been all over the place and you can't argue with 2 ints and two forced fumbles. He's barely made a mistake as well. This guy is definately going to be special very soon.

hog fans,i went to the miami game and let me tell you sean taylor is the real deal.I went to the game with his dad and family and got a football signed by him but besides that it was the best we looked so far.brunell will be our starter for sure.he looks alot more comfortable.he threw one bad pass that was overthrown but other than that he was on the money.we held them to 26 yards rushing.they could not do nothing.also marcus washington is going to be a stud.he was all over the field.scary to think what this d could be if everybody keeps gelling.our d line looks better than what people think.they were collapsing the pocket alot leaving our linebakers a chance to just pummel feely and feidler.hope it stays that way. anyway take care to all and go skins

Whoa

Post by LALUVAH »

Whoa there HK, this guy is showing a lot, but until I see him grasp all the complex schemes Williams will throw at him during the season, he's just another talented rookie with loads of potential. I do think, though, that he'll be great sooner rather than later, so I agree with you on that.

Because of Arrington, Taylor, and company, I think the defense will be the strength of the team this year.

So far we have seen Taylor hit very well and cover even better. All that we have yet to see is his grasp on the defense (which can't truly be evaluated until the regular season) and his pass-rush ability (which for a saftey is nothing but gravy, but is also something that he appears to have the potential to be very good at).

I agree that we can't TRULY know how good this guy is until the real games start, but on the other hand, you have to give him a A+ at this point. Four interceptions/forced fumbles in around six quarters of play? I mean honestly, just stop.

You're damn right I'm back...

Sean Taylor still has the tendecy to over commit leaving himself open to get beat on the deep ball. The sack that was called back because of Seans hold was a smart penalty because he was beat and that could have been 6. I know that I am over analyzing because other than that play he looked great...but its something he has been doing in practice too. He cant just rely on his speed to make up for his mistakes in the NFL like he did in college. Anyway, the guy is going to be special.

Talor is looking good thus far - Friday night will be a good test for him. Its not like Miami right now outstanding in their passing game. Lets see what he can do against the Rams and Falcons.

It may have been the right decision (I really don't know because CBS didn't show a replay of what Taylor did, or if they did I missed it), but there is no way that could have ended up as six. Feeley didn't even have time cock his arm, let alone throw a good deep ball.

All I know is that to the untrained eye, Taylor has made one mistake this preseason, and that would be that penalty. We keep hearing about how he is going to get burned because he doesn't respect recievers, but the one deep pass that was thrown his way he intercepted. If I had his skills, I wouldn't respect recievers either...

I know it wasnt going to be six in that exact instance (AJ was sacked). My point was that he was beat deep and Williams has mentioned that it has happend in practice too. He is learning every day and is going to be a very special player in the near future. Great pick at #5.

I'm still waiting on Len Pastabelly to eat all his bad words about Mr. Taylor. That's a big meal, even for him.

Yeah, its funny how quick all the Winslow whiners have disappeared. ST will quietly rack ribs while Winslow will continue to flap gums. As most of us knew before the draft.

Fleetus ends:
Mark Murphy, Kenny Houston and now Sean Taylor, the Skins are again in safe hands!!!

And don't forget Richie Petibon, the game's first strong safety, an original Georeg Allen Over-the-Hill-Gang "Ramskin".

Taylor will be rookie of the year.

He will find KW2 coming across the field and lay him out.

Washington has had some huge hits. That one at midfield at the Denver game made me stop watching the Bronco cheerleaders ..... and that is saying alot. The Colts will regret not re-signing him .... maybe in February in Jacksonville

::munching on my don't draft Taylor crow::

I look forward to seeing a few hits by Taylor on Winslow - maybe Taylor can make the punk bite his tongue for all he said

I don't know about rookie of the year, but I imagine it will be a good year if his preseason is indicatory.... I'm happy so far :)

I will be happier to see the DL maintain what has been a couple of good performances all year, but time will tell on that

daggone - you know - crow doesn't taste half bad
