I wish this guy would just call it a career already! I would never pay to see a fight of his...and I wonder how many suckers out there paid to see this one. He isn't fighting to win, folks, he fighting to get "paid."

I'll assume the demographic most interested in this is males age 18-34. Assuming P.T. Barnum was correct, dividing by two for the number of female suckers ... 252,288,000 by my math.
I got your number. I steal your thunder. I got your mother's maiden name tattooed on my arm.

The whole story
Williams knocks out Tyson in 4th
Associated Press
Mike Tyson was knocked out in the fourth round Friday night in a shocking end to the latest comeback of the fighter who once was the most feared heavyweight of his era.
Unheralded British heavyweight Danny Williams landed a flurry of punches that sent Tyson sprawling into the ropes, perhaps ending his career with the same kind of fury that Tyson once unleashed on other fighters.
The fighter once called the baddest man on the planet went down from a final right hand, then laid helplessly along the ropes, blood streaming down his face. He tried to get up to beat the count, then fell down again and the fight was waved to a stunning close at 2:51 of the fourth round.
The fight was a free-for-all from the opening bell, with Tyson landing some huge left hooks early, only to take punishment himself when Williams got over his initial stage fright and began brawling himself.
Tyson won the first three rounds, but Williams was landing well to the head and when he began throwing punch after punch with Tyson near a neutral corner, Tyson couldn't answer back.
Fighting in Muhammad Ali's hometown before a big crowd that cheered his every move, Tyson tried with every punch to score the kind of spectacular knockout that would make him a heavyweight contender once again at the age of 38.
But Williams wouldn't go down and then came back with shocking suddeness to win.
It was Tyson's first fight in 17 months, and only his second since taking a beating from former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis two years ago.
He was desperately trying to resurrect a career that made him more than $300 million, but the loss to a 9-1 underdog perhaps signals the end of an era in the heavyweight division
"People forget this isn't a peak Mike Tyson. This was a Mike Tyson who was 38 years old," Williams said. "I thought I could win."
Tyson left the ring refusing to talk, but his manager Shelly Finkel said he twisted his knee late in the first round and it bothered him.
"He couldn't get leverage," Finkel said. "When the guy was leaning on him I knew it would be a bad night."
The crowd of 17,253 that nearly filled Freedom Hall came to see a knockout by Tyson, and when Tyson rocked Williams with a big uppercut and some left hooks in the first two rounds it looked like they would get what they came for.
But Tyson was cut in the third round, and Williams showed he was going to be the bully in this fight. He hit Tyson on the break, losing a point, then hit him low, and the referee took another point.
"The way Tyson fights when he hits you with a good shot you want to get one back at him," Williams said.
Williams came in with a 31-3 record with 26 knockouts, but had fought only once in the United States. He said before the fight he wouldn't be scared and would beat Tyson in the late rounds, but the end came even earlier than he thought.
"I felt like I had him," Williams said. "I just remember (Evander) Holyfield fighting him that Holyfield kept coming with shot after shot."
Tyson won the first three rounds on all three ringside scorecards. But Williams, who weighed 265 pounds to 233 for the former champion, kept fighting back and soon seemed to be getting the better of Tyson when they traded head shots.
In the fourth round, Tyson landed a big left hook early, but soon Williams took over and was landing almost unanswered when he drove Tyson into the ropes with the final punch.
Referee Dennis Alfred began counting and got to five, then waited for Williams to go to a neutral corner, giving Tyson more time. But even that wasn't enough as Tyson lay beaten, bleeding and battered on the ropes.
"He was laying on him a lot. The weight wore him out," Tyson trainer Freddie Roach said. "He had a great amount of firepower. Mike moved his head well and threw good combinations."
Williams, the former British Commonwealth champion, had an impressive record but had never fought a name opponent or top contender. Still, Tyson had ring rust after his long layoff and he hadn't been beating household names recently, either.
"This guy can punch a bit, so you have to be careful," Roach warned before the fight.
Tyson, who blew an estimated $300 million fortune, earned about $8 million for the 57th fight of a pro career that began 19 years ago. He could only keep $2 million of it, with the rest going to pay off some of the $38 million he owes to creditors, under a bankruptcy reorganization plan.

owww, i tore my knee cartiledge throwing a punch and thats why I got knocked out. What a loser. Even if he really did tear knee cartiledge, that show's how unprepared he was for this fight. He though he was Tyson and he had a Nintendo video game with his name on it and he could beat this guy in his sleep.
Williams offered him a rematch in london. I hope he takes it and gets his butt kicked again.

Yeah it was in the first round and Tyson dominated the first round. I don't know if you saw the tape, but before the knee injury Tyson was in control and looked to be on pace for an early knockout victory.
Now don't get me wrong, Tyson is clearly washed up. Staying healthy is part of boxing and when Tyson's leg gave out he was a sitting duck. All I'm saying is that the knee injury did cost him the fight...

I'm bored, I'm broke, and I'm back.

That's not what his own trainer says.
Even his trainer realized it, although he wasn't ready to come out and say it.
Freddie Roach was near tears while speaking to reporters after the fight. He was asked, based on what he saw tonight, if Tyson could ever contend for the heavyweight title.
"No," Roach replied, the tone of resignation speaking volumes more than he wanted.
Then why continue? Roach couldn't bring himself to reveal his true feelings, but his answer revealed his opinion.
"It could be over," Roach said, his eyes beginning to redden and his lower lip quivering. "Part of me wants to say it is over.
"Out of fairness to Mike, I think it would be premature for me to make a comment right now. But I care for Mike a lot, and it was hard watching him take those shots. He showed a lot of heart, but he took a lot of shots."
Tyson has gone 5-4 with two no-contests since November 1996, a stretch that started with his first of two losses to Evander Holyfield. Tyson was unavailable to comment after his latest knockout loss because he was taken to a hospital.
Williams, of all people, sent Tyson to the ER. How on earth does that happen?
Roach, the Boxing Writers Association of America's 2003 trainer of the year, insisted that Tyson trained sufficiently for the fight, that Tyson finally gave up smoking marijuana, that Tyson didn't take Williams for granted.
"Mike never looked past Danny Williams," Roach said. "He trained hard for the fight. We had the right gameplan. It just didn't work it."
Tyson, ending a 17-month layoff, couldn't take care of an opponent who earlier this year was beaten by someone named Michael Sprott.
Not only couldn't Tyson finish off a pedestrian opponent who had been dropped repeatedly by middling opposition, but also the artist formerly known as Iron Mike got bludgeoned as though he were the trial horse.
Tyson, however, will have a hard time walking away. He desperately needs money. Boxing's biggest ATM machine filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last year after he frittered away some $400 million in career earnings. By some reports he owes creditors more than $40 million.
"Everybody needs to make money," Roach said. "Still, what Mike knows best is fighting. ... But money won't be an issue whatsoever in our decision. What good is all the money in the world if you can't count it."
Roach suggested that if Tyson did choose to continue his career, the trainer might quit the corner as a sign of protest.
Tyson after the bout would have been as valuable to an aspiring medical student as a cadaver.
He twisted his left knee near the end of the first round, and his handlers believed he could have a torn ligament. He received stitches around his right eye. The head trauma he received -- at the hands of a fighter long ago written off even by the fawning British boxing press -- forced him to the hospital for a precautionary brain scan.
The fight went as most everyone expected in the first round. Tyson clearly wanted to end it quickly. He had quick hands, a crisp jab, pounded away at Williams' torso and showed slick head movement.
Tyson staggered Williams about halfway into the opening round. A left hook to the chin trailed by a left uppercut forced Williams to hang on for dear life. Williams survived without hitting the canvas and quickly regrouped to win the second round. Williams was content to back himself into a corner and trade punches with Tyson.
"He gave me a good shot, but the key is giving one back to him," Williams said. "I went toe-to-toe with him. He hurt me for a few seconds in the first round, but I came back and fought."
Said Roach: "He got Mike tired and Mike wasn't able to execute. He just stood in front of the guy and took too many shots."
Williams triumphed over two opponents Friday night. Not only did he starch the bejeezus out of Tyson, but the underestimated Brit also overcame an incompetent referee, who seemed hell-bent on making sure Tyson would win.
Alfred twice deducted a point from Williams without giving him a warning in the third round, once for hitting on the break and once for an alleged low blow that appeared to land on Tyson's right hip.
"The referee was a proper joker," Williams said.
Alfred also proved gracious after Tyson slumped into the ropes late in the fourth round. The hometown referee was so preoccupied with making sure Williams had retreated to a neutral corner that he generously gave Tyson at least three extra seconds to get up.
Tyson didn't have enough time to regroup from the knockdown.
There's not enough time in the world for him to recover his career.
