WASHINGTON -- The Washington Wizards signed free-agent guard Anthony Peeler on Thursday.
Peeler, who led the NBA in 3-point shooting percentage last season as a backup with Sacramento, declined to exercise his contract option with the Kings and became a free agent July 1. He shot 48.2 percent from beyond the arc, making 68 of 141 attempts. He averaged 5.7 points and 2.0 rebounds.
Peeler has averaged 10.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 12 seasons with Vancouver, Minnesota and Sacramento.
"Anthony Peeler is an established veteran and a very solid player," Wizards general manager Ernie Grunfeld said. "He is a proven perimeter shooter, a hard-nosed defender, and brings significant playoff experience to our young roster."

At least they won with that name.
where do I sign up?
Seriously - they need to change back to the Bullets. I hope when Abe Pollen decides to sell or kicks the bucket, the new owner (Ted Leonsis?) changes it back.
The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject.
