I voted for Brunell because I think his QB skills are much more developed than Ramsey's at the present time. I think P-Ram can learn from him and, in time, will take over the starting QB job. For now, however, this will be Marky-Mark's fun bunch.

Justice Hog, I agree with you, let Ramsey watch a little and with Brunell and his age, Ramsey will be in there in no time. And leading us in a year or two, to another superbowl.

First Year Stats QBs
Brett Favre #4
Year Team 1992 Green Bay Packers
games- 15

yards-3227

18 tds

13 ints

Mark Brunell #8
year Team

1995 Jacksonville Jaguars
games-13

yards-2168

15-tds

7-ints

Patrick Ramsey #11

Year Team
2003 Washington Redskins
games-11

Take a look at Ramsey's yards in 11 games 1st year to Brunnel's yards in 13 games 1st year. I say give Ramsey the start.

I can't believe you just said Ramsey should start based on Brunell's 1995 stats. Unbelievable...

Who I want is Ramsey, who I think....I don't know.

I do know that Ramsey will give Brunell a run for his money. I give credit to Brunell for being very sportsman like about the "competition" but you can see that Brunell is a very sure of himself...deffinately confident, boarderline arrogant.

I think Ramsey will surprise Brunell, the staff, and even himself. Ramsey is very competitive and I am looking forward to seeing if he bombs when he tries to step up his game. If he can raise his game to a higher level this summer then he is ready...I think.

I voted for Patrick Ramsey because he deserves to get the start. After last year and all of those beatings that he took, he deserves to at least show everyone what he has.

Brunell, because Joe and I aren't comfortable with Patrick running a pro offense right now.

Why not I already have seen Ramsey play and I have seen Brunell play. If you look at the system Ramsey played in , with no protection , and he still produced numbers close to brunnel's 1st year, that with Brunell in a better system. Seems like a no brainer. Look at it this way after Brunnel's first year alot of people in Jacksonville thought they had a QB for the future.(which he was) I think we have our QB for now and the future in Ramsey...

I think we're really beating a dead horse with this question. First of all, it doesn't matter what WE think now. What matters is what Joe Gibbs thinks after he sees the QB's (including Hasselbeck and Gibran whatshisface) at camp.
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

Actually it is pretty beleivable. Im not saying I agree with it but it makes perfect sense. You cant see the logic in it by comparing there first year stats. We all know Brunell is going to to start the year at quarterback, but the job will be there for the taking by ramsey.

In the majority of your posts when you diagree with someone you like to belittle them instead of just stating your opinion as to why you disagree with them. Show a little class.

Jon, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings in the Smack Forum. Seriously, I apologize. Let's move on.

Hogred, I apologize for not explaining myself.

Look, what Brunell did in 1995 has nothing to do with how he will preform this season. If you want to compare his 95 stats to Ramsey's 2002 stats and say that since they are similar then Ramsey could have a future similar to Brunell's, fine. I see the logic in that.

I agree that Ramsey has a great future. But that has nothing to do with who should start this season. Brunell is one of the most efficent passers in NFL history, and that is why he is going to start...
