I loved this show last year and this year, there are actually comedians I have heard of! This is awesome! It's on NBC. I've seen about 10 of these comedians on Comedy Central Presents so far. One of my favorite comedians I have watched on stage is Pablo Francisco. He does AWESOME voices and impressions. I'm rooting for him to go all the way.
I also like Cathleen Madigan, Louis Rammey, and Todd Glass. If any of you have seen Todd Glass perform on Comedy Central Presents, he's the one who joked about how you don't know what people from Philadelphia are saying.
His joke was that he asked a guy from Philly where he was from and he sounded like he was talking with a cheestake in his mouth and he says
"Phluffy"
Todd replies "Phluffy?"
"Yeah, you know, the Phluffy Eagles?"
God, I love this show!

Sorry I missed it. Anyone who does SHTICK is good in my book! I need the guys name so I can start a "Support the Shtick Guy on LCS" thread!!! Just kidding. Thanks for keepin' an eye out!
That Costello woman and the woman with the wierd face shouldn't be sent to Vegas. Pablo Francisco, Louis Rammey, Paul Varghasse, and Vladimir were screwed. Pablo is the funniest comedian and doest he best impressions. Louis Rammey is the second funniest comic but was screwed and Vladimir is hilarious for a teenager who's only been a comedian for 9 months before he was on the show. I loved the joke Paul did about his parents being scared of the boogy man.
I guess I'll be rooting for Todd Glass and Kathleen Madigan but it sucks that three of my favorites won't be there. I think Dan Adhoot is awesome, too.

I'm not as good with names as you are.... but the 2 guys i thought got screwed were the "Arab" guy... I thought he was funny.... and the guy who was always talking about he had a baby on the way (was always hanging out with Mike Glass).....he was hilarious..... The lady who came out and did the high voice/face thing I thought was lousy and shouldn't have gone on.... but what do you do
PS - REDEEMDSKIN... the SHTICK guy made it through again... if you didn't see him he'll be on next week....

SHTICK .... it's what's for dinner. STHICK .... the other white meat. SHTICK .... the ANTIISMACK.
SHTICK .... REDEEMEDSKIN's M.O.
Anyway, on topic, I thought the TV listings called for "Next Action Hero" on tonight. I'll check NBC, though. Thanks for lookin'out for a brutha, BTP!
I saw the show last night, in between the Pistons-Lakers game, and the SHTICK guy was not on.
Jay Mohr's voice is annoying, and he shouldn't be doing the voiceovers in the beginning. Also, he reads the cue cards entirely too much.
As for the end result, I am outraged that ANT and the "four-letter word" girl made it over Adhmoot and the "old bald guy". ANT, I guess was selected to be the token gay guy in the "reality show", and the girl was controversial, so she HAD to make it. I guess I must keep an open mind about this being a reality show. NBC is looking for ratings first, and good comics second.
I'm looking forward to the SHTICK guy tonight. Thanks.
BTW - Jay Mohr hosted "MOHR SPORTS" on ESPN2, back in April of 2002.
Ah... That was it... I couldn't remeber if it was on cable or if it was on a pay channel (ex: HBO) ... I guess they canceled it... I liked that show..
LCS: Yeah i was sure that the old guy was gonna make it too.... I think that they had to make it PC for the women and men... that's why that "four-letter word" lady (aka: Bonnie McFarlane) made it.... Ant was funny but I thought the old guy would make it over him.... Oh, Well! the funniest of them all last night was Corey Holcomb... he was hilarious
Tonight should be a good night... there alot of the ones I like on tonight.... I can't believe you watched that horrible NBA Championship Game last night.... I flipped to it late and look like the Lakers took sleeping pills after half time....

I really wish I had heard all of his material. His material was funny, but it was his post-comedy comments with the panel were HILARIOUS and really put him over; he's a real natural. "Keepin' it football" , he reminds me of Warren Sapp.
I liked the tall guy's NFL cheerleaders joke.
My wife and I both agreed that the "mother of twins" looked hot, considering she had had twins, but her material was weak.
I was hoping that the guy from VA would represent for the Metro area, but he was awful. It must be something YOU ALL drink in the water down there. He he.
I like Adhoot's "I'm half Iranian, and half Jew. I don't know whether to hate me or hate me." joke. Given the current political climate, there was no way the NBC execs would allow that. Oh well.
You also toook a shot at me when you wrote:I can't believe you watched that horrible NBA Championship Game last night....
Do you wanna take this to the SMACK FORUM????!!!
Just kidding.
I fell asleep watching the game last night, early in the third quarter. I told my friend that I woke up right when Ben Wallace was lifting the trophy, and for a moment I saw the O'brien trophy with a 'fro. Priceless.
What was up with the guy they said was from Washington, DC? He then came out saying he was from Brooklyn and all his jokes were based on Brooklyn... Just curious. He didn't make it through and I only caught part of the show.
The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject.

I know what you're sayin'. I was psyched about somebody representin' for the Chocolate City, but just like the guy from VA, he went down in flames.
His name was great, his material was awful. He should have gone by "Brooklyn Benny". It would have made more sense.
Grr.... one of my favorite comics, Todd Glass, was eliminated on Tuesday. That episode was so weird. Ant crushed everybody in the tour guide event. Then supposedly he said something to Corey that flipped the 'furious' switch to 'On'. Then Ant cried after they got off the bus. That was the funniest part of the whole show. I was when he was being held by Tammy and everyone else said "We didn't audition for the 'Real World'."

I caught the tail end of the show. The head-to-head competition seemed dead even. I liked Todd Glass, but Tammy is better to look at .
I can't comment on the ANT thing since I missed it. However, I am starting to wonder how much input the producers have at the time of the final voting. Yes, the crowd can vote, but the disclaimer during the closing credits makes it seem that the producers have the final say.
Also, I really wish they would show each comic's complete set insstead of the edited for TV version, simply because, the highlights are all funny, which makes formulating my own opinion on the comics that much harder. Oh, well, I'm rambling now.
I thought Todd Glass had the head-to-head won, but he ended weak with the whole toothpaste/deoderant/shampoo bit.
I really don't like Ant. He's pretends to be nice, but all he really does is go behind people's back and screw them over. And then in his argument with Corey, he just acted like a six-year-old. It amazes me that he is still alive today, because taking that kind of attitude with a man as big as Corey is not really the best idea...
