The Oakland Raiders have signed two young NFL veteran free agents - running back Troy Hambrick and defensive back David Terrell. Hambrick was the leading rusher for the Dallas Cowboys last season and ranked eighth in the NFC in rushing with 972 yards on 275 carries in 2003. He had three 100-yard rushing games last season and tied for the team lead in touchdowns with five.
The 6-1, 235-pound Hambrick has started 27 out of 51 regular season games and totaled 1,896 yards rushing with eight touchdowns and 42 receptions for 260 yards in four pro seasons, all with the Cowboys.
Hambrick first entered the NFL in 2000 after earning a roster spot on the Cowboys as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Savannah State. In 2001, he saw action at both running back and fullback and finished third among NFL running backs with a 5.1 yards per carry average.
The 27-year old Hambrick, whose brother, Darren also played in the NFL, has shown his prowess on special teams, placing second in the Cowboys in special teams tackles with 17 in 2002.
Terrell, 28, has spent all four of his NFL seasons with the Redskins and has posted 188 tackles and six interceptions.

Terrell was a seventh round selection by Washington in 1998 out of the University of Texas-El Paso.
