Eagles - its on

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Eagles - its on

Post by skinsfaninroanoke »

PHILADELPHIA -- It was very clear that Donovan McNabb either wanted to be asked the question or knew it was coming.

The Eagles quarterback, who has lost the last three NFC championship games, was asked whether the addition of Pro Bowl wide receiver Terrell Owens was the final, missing piece of the Super Bowl puzzle in Philadelphia

hmmm... so there are no more excuses? Donovan throwing 3 ints in the championship game but it was the WR fault... yeah - there'll be more excuses...

When are people going to realize this? It's not the Eagles, the team, that's the problem!! It's the fans!!! God has looked down upon this Earth...and has viewed those low-class, criminal, Eagles fans and has said:

"THAT TEAM SHALL NOT EVER WIN A SUPER BOWL BECAUSE THE FANS DO NOT DESERVE IT."

So let it be written....so it shall be done!!

Eagles

No one realizes this but all their star players on offense finished the season on IR (if you count McNabb and the pro bowl). At least one of the has to be not fully recovered.

I don't know how Westbrook is doing, but TO and McNabb were healthy for minicamp.

Also, Pinkston bulked up from a waifish 175 to a beefy 178. :)

Oh come now, it is always someone's fault besides McChoke...

That man has thrown more high pressure game ints than most current QBs...

ooooooooo 178... scare me ;)

I must have missed the memo--did you just say Michael "First Down Arm Extension" Westbrook in relation to the Eagles?

It could be a fun season watching TO and Westbrook get the pride knocked out of them by our boys in the backfield (did the name game ever reach a consensus?)

Westbrook is the Eagles running back bro...

And so far - the Wrecking Crew... although there were a lot of honorable mentions

Yikes  How embarassing. Well, how was I supposed to keep track of the backs with all three of them back there. . .

I know, I know, no way to redeem myself here. So this is what it feels like to be a puke fan.

Again I'll ask if you watched the game. Our wonderful starting receivers managed one catch for the entire game in single coverage. Pinkston was running the wrong routes, cutting short when he wasn't supposed to. Even the reliable Duce Staley screwed up when it counted. So no, I'm not going to blame McNabb for that game. Not the guy who played through torn rib cartilege and couldn't even stand up under his own power.
