If you were the Pig Fairy, and could grant the Redskins 1 player in the entire league...no questions asked who would it be?

Now, close your eyes and click your hooves 3 times...

I would pick....

DE - Julius Peppers

Kris Jenkins would be a close second!

A younger Brett Favre - an awesome footballer and team leader. Out of interest, was Favre drafted in the first rnd in his year? If not it puts the Giants expensive trade for Eli Manning into perspective!
Lets go Redskins !

Yes, Ray Lewis, Julius Peppers, or Kris Jenkins. Any of these three put us over the top

Brett Favre was drafted by the Falcons in the 2nd round in 1991 (#33 overall)...then traded his 2nd year to the Packers.
(The Redskins drafted DT Bobby Wilson 16 spots before Favre...hindsight is 20/20)

We do have that guy...his name is Patrick Ramsey...Like Favre P-Ram is a Cajun and hopefully he will get a shot to be 3/4 of what Favre has been....hope, hope

Hmmm?

Wakeforest, NC + Redskins need for a pass rusher + NC43Hog = Julius Peppers

I am shocked you agreed with me! ;)

Well, this time last year I would've said Clinton Portis. Now that we've got him, I'll go with Peppers.

With what we have gotten in the off-season and through the draft, D-Line is definately our most glaring need. I think I would have to take Dwight Freeney from the Colts. For his two years he is averaging 12 sacks and 6.5 forced fumbles. He is fast and can disrupt plays. He will only get better with time.

I'd PROBABLY take Dwight Freeney over Julius Peppers but only because Freeney has had better production the last two seasons. Julius and him both had monster rookie years, but this year Freeney pressured the QB more and you also have to look at J.Peppers' supporting cast. If you put Kris Jenkins, Brent Buckner, and Mike Rucker on the same line as Freeney, watch out because the rest of the league is in trouble. Its close though...

For his consistency and our need for a DE...I would have to take Jason Taylor.

Otherwise I would take Ray Lewis...because he is the best player in the NFL.

I'd take Peyton as well.

Simeon Rice...what a loser. After hearing his and Sapp's comments on Pat Tillman seaking publicity, I have very little respect for either....not that Sapp had any to begin with.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

^^^ hahaa... I agree about Vick, although I don't think he would fit well into a Gibbs offense. I don't think Gibbs would know what the heck to do with him!

I'd have to go:

Peyton Manning
Dwight Freeney
Big Ted Washington

like they say about the first picks in the draft, you draft best player available and not for need, so thats why I think Vick would be the right pick
