Thought you guys might find this interesting , I was looking in SportingNews scouting reports to see if i could find some info on our UDFA and this is what i found.
John Standeford-WR-projected 7th rounder, nfl comparison Oronde Gadsden, Dolphins.
Ryan Boschetti-DT-projected 6th rounder.
Quinn Christensen-G-projected 7th rounder,6-6&1/4,310 lbs.
William Strother-LB-projected 6th rounder.
some of these guys might make good backups. I seen John Standeford play , he has good hands and can take a hit. also you might notice all the offensive lineman we have picked up are 6-6 ht. just thought it was interesting need a tall QB. Who is taller Brunell or Ramsey?

now hold on here, gadson has the second best hands in the nfl (marvin harrison having the best). i've seen gadson make some unimaginable one-handed catches. if standeford is that good (based on the above 'nfl comparison') then he's a steal as a udfa.

Russell, Thrash, Gardner...
Just to name a few
I wouldn't be surprised to see the starting three be Coles, McCants, Jacobs - we would have to have 2-3 backup receivers. Most teams will keep a couple on the bench for spread formations, plus with the practice squad being expanded, we can stash him there if he shows progress but needs polishing
