that looks close....and i'm glad someone else is already thinking about that only 53 members will make the team....and 5 on practice squad of course. i do think that Gibbs will have 3 qbs tho, Lott will be kept..he adds great depth...for corner or safety. Fiore...thats a toss up, but you saying he's gone is interesting. Sellers won't make the team...R. Brown may not make it as well....and honestly...even tho i like the guy...Rasby may be gona too...it's worth whatever signing bonus they gave him for other TE and H-backs to see his abilities and work ethics..to learn from. so i say Sellers or Rasby gone...gives room for 3rd Qb and R Brown may be gone...or we may just go with 3 DTs....with all the LBs we will have to have room for Lott. other than that...which is just my opinion...i think you did a great job...this could very well be our 53, but i know Gibbs won't come into a season with only 3 Qbs.....great job!!
I didn't want to double count Morton as I have him as one of the 4 Special Teamers. Yes, I think we will look at the waiver wire after 6/1. Why? Because this year a ton of DTs were drafted in the first 3 rounds and they will "push out" a number of more expensive DTs that we can pick up on the cheap.
I think we'll definitely go after some 6/1 cuts for the Dline. I've had a feeling for a while they're targeting some 6/1 people. I think our D is way better already than last year (improved with personnel but vastly improved with personnel and this coaching staff). I think we'll be a little surprised by what Williams and co will do with this team.
The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject.
Maybe, maybe not. Tupa is a QB who is a very good punter. He also is a very good holder. I like Haselback but I like Tupa better. Especially when we have Ramsey waiting in the wings and since Tupa fills 3 roles while taking only 1 spot on the roster.
He's started 13 games, and has attempted 504 passes as a quarterback during his career, completing 259. The whole idea of using ey as the LS and Tupa as a 3rd string QB is to have more depth in other places, but Gibbs has already pretty much said Hasselbeck is the 3rd man.

As I stated earlier Hasselback may or may not be the 3rd QB. I haven't read where Gibbs said Hasselback was his #3. If so, didn't Gibbs tell Winslow if he was there at #5 the Redskins would take him? Bottom line is this is a tough business and Tupa can still play QB as a 3rd stringer and you can have Hasselback or Hamdan on the Practice Squad.
If Steve Spurrier were still coach, Tupa would be number 2 on the QB depth chart, and we'd have no 3rd string QB. With Chad Morton as a reserve running back, one of those other backs will probably be sent packing along with Trung. My guess is that McCullough will go, although I like his potential. Are the Skins really going to keep 5 corners?
"Just when you think you have all the answers, I change the questions."
The chances of Joe Gibbs going into the season with Tom Tupa as his number three quarterback are about as small as Fat Lenny passing up a doughnut. I would rather have Rod Gardner play quarterback...
No need to comment on what Spurrier would do...thank god he's gone. As to RB and CB I believe we will keep 5 CBs because Williams loves to use 4 in some cover situations. Also I think we will keep 4 RBs with Morton not counted as he is a special teamer. But don't get me wrong, Morton will be a very good 3rd down back. I agree, we will cut Canidate but I think Byner will love Sultan's speed.
