Panthers bidding tops $2.5B - Redskins value?

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Panthers bidding tops $2.5B - Redskins value?

Post by SkinsJock »

wouldn't it be great if Dan Snyder were to sell the Redskins and make $2B clear - he could ...

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

All I can say about this is, and I'm censuring my comments cause this ain't smack. But, Holy smokes no team should be worth that. Do the new owners get the stadium as part of the package?

Snyder's price would, unfortunately for Redskin fans, likely be higher. Added value: the boost he gets from owning the team.

I agree welch - he loves owning this franchise and he thinks that he can make this franchise successful again

besides - there's no way that the value is going down

I grew up as the NFL overtook MLB and became the nation's game. I think the NFL has peaked and it is on its way down now so anyone paying top dollar for an NFL franchise is going to be disappointed with their financial return. A host of forces are dragging the NFL down and 10-20 years from now I think the game will be significantly smaller than now.
