This comes up a lot in the Game Day thread, the Post Game thread, and elsewhere.
To kick things off I note that 4 teams run more than they pass:
Dallas = no surprise
49ers = a surprise unless you knew Philly ran more than anyone in Kelly's first year their.
Buffalo = no surprise
New England !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
New Orleans throws the most = no surprise.
Washington ranks 25th. We run on 38.57% of our plays. The league average is 41.9%.

Re: Run the Ball !! ??
Offense has been more balanced the last few weeks, even with injuries to the OL. A good trend.
Re: Run the Ball !! ??
The last thing we want is to be around the league average.
Dallas runs 10 percent more then the league average. They also have a QB who compliments the running game as well.
Frisco can't pass therefore no balance. Buffalo was running it like clockwork until McCoy got hurt.
New England can do whatever they want.
Also Miami is now running it far more often then they were starting the season. With great success too.
We don't want our team averaging near the league average in any category. That makes us just average.
I have a funny feeling Rob Kelly may rush for 200 yards this Sunday.
