Skins getting hit hard on first take

Post by Prowl33 »

I actually like seeing this as a fan, Stephen a has done segments 2 days in a row dogging us, the 2nd cause baker called him out. They continually call us the worst team in the east, yet pretend like they know what they are talking about.

So here we go, we will keep flying under everyone's radar, and get to prove them wrong a 2nd year in a row, and it will make victory feel that much better :)

Of all the garbage they stole from ESPN, Stephen A. Smith is the one FOX didn't want. FOX took Chris "I've never been right about anything, even by accident" Broussard but not Stephen A. Smith.

I find it hard to believe anyone takes Smith seriously when he only has a job because someone has to fill the role of Skip Brainless.
“He was at that time the smartest player in the league. We did everything we could to try to eliminate him from the play. We knew if we didn’t neutralize him, then we had less of a chance of winning.” - John Hannah on Chris Hanburger

" "Wind-Up Anger Muppet" Stephen A. Smith...." is a line in the WaPo that won the internet yesterday.

B Mitch just destroyed Stephen A. He repeated several times that he didn't invite Stephen A. on and wouldn't have.

Did you guys see Grudens response to this? Saying that stephen a can call him a loser all he wants, but when he says it about his players and his coaches that it upsets him and he has a big issue with it.

This is one of the biggest reasons why this time is coming together, because they are coming together around a coach they all like and respect.

Anytime BMitch gets rolling, it is fun... He speaks the way he played... he's like the Bill Bixby version of Bruce Banner... "don't make me angry... you won't like me when I'm angry"... entertainment ensues shortly thereafter

Win the game...not the battle of bubble-heads commentary.

Remember "Dr Z" in Sports Illustrated? He insisted that the Bills would beat the Redskins in Superbowl 26. Dan Dierdorf laughed at the Redskins during the first quarter of SB 22.

Think of all those years when "experts" claimed the Snyder-run Redskins had become all-powerful when they signed famous free-agents...February after February.

It's better to win the games.

Also on that new show that skip Bayless is on, undisputed, skip (who is a dumb cowgirls fan) of course says we will lose 5 of our next 6, and that the cowgirls will easily win the division.

Our next 6:
CINCY (London)
MIN
GB
@DAL
@AZ
@PHI

Taking these matchups on paper, is it crazy to say we drop 5 of those 6? I don't think so.

Now, do I think we'll lose 5 of our next 6 -- no, but I think idiot media guys may think so just looking at records. Personally, I think we could beat MIN (as they are overrated and haven't played a quality team other than GB), GB (who have only played 2 games away; against JAC and MIN and have played poorly away), CINCY (if Norman plays), and PHI (mainly because we beat them so soundly the first time).

Does that mean we will win those games. No way. We could honesty go 0-6 or 4-2 --- but who knows. That is why you play the games.
RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

Best case scenario we win 4 out of 6....I think worse case we split.

I look at it this way, Cincy is a 2-4 team and is really an away game for them too. Minnesota is tough, but the eagles beat them, and like you mentioned they haven't beat anyone good. GB has the easiest schedule in the nfl this year and are playing horrible despite their record. Dallas is the best team on this list, but we could of won that last game and we are a better team now than we were 5 weeks ago. Cards are proven to be an average team this year but their run game could be an issue. We have won 4 in a row now against philly.

I wound say odds are for an even 3-3 and will depend on how we play in those situational moments

Well from there we better beat the Bears, Panthers, and Giants to go 10-6 because I think that is the record we will need to win the division. Dallas have an awfully easy schedule the rest of the way.

are you freaking kidding me - I just watched my first and definitely last "First Take"

nobody with any sense would watch this show let alone give it any credence at all

what a complete waste of time - :puke:
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
