Post Game ....pukes @ Skins

Post by tribeofjudah »

I don't see a post game thread, so here it is. (Mods, combine if you please)

The last kick off to the Skins: Why couldn't they just run it out of bounds ---- THEN hope for a HAIL MARY from Cousins to whoever for the TD?
I hate/hate/hate those pitch-back plays hoping for a break out to the open field and end zone... Hate it.

You don't see a post-game thread because no one has anything to say that doesn't include a lot of foul language. Even Desean Jackson's mother nominated him for the dumb ass play of the year award on twitter.

Still control our own destiny. It's time for the BS conservative playcalling to stop. And it's time for them to pick a runner, and stick with him for a game.

What I think is puzzling is? you guys had the chance to score the potential game winner
and you blew it..had that happened as it should have, Dallas would have no ability to
comeback and drive down the field so Bailey could kick the 54 yard game winner with
seconds to spare

Actually can call a fair catch, and not run any time off the clock. I agree on the pitch/throw back plays. No one is taken by surprise by that anymore At least do it on a play from scrimmage. Throw to a receiver underneath on one sideline, and have him lateral across the field to another on the opposite sideline. I've never seen that.

:hmm: What do you mean...it did happen and we did score to tie it? Who's to say we would have score and not left enough time on the clock for you guys to tie it (like you did)...had Jackson not fumbled? On the other hand you had that chance...I think the bigger blunder was Garrett not telling his players not to score and kick a walk off FG...Garrett would have been crucified if Dallas had lost that game!!!
It amazes me how HC in this league continue to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Yes. At least 3 people, Turico, my best friend, and I (we were both drunk) were calling for the 'Skins to let them score. We beat him to it BTW.

I was thinking we might try to draw them offside on our PAT and then go for 2.

I also didn't think the snap was a bad one saved by a great catch/hold. It was a good one that he dropped and re-secured in the nick of time.

Yes the snap was fine Way bobbled it, made a nice recovery.
I thought about them going for 2, but Gruden doesn’t have the kind of clout!! Plus I think you go for two when you know you're going to win if you make it...like less than 10 seconds on the clock. In this case they still would have lost even if they made it.

Four. I called for it in the game thread immediately after the fumble.

When exactly? Here is a link to the play by play. I remember actually taking the lead two different times in the third quarter. I also remember having a lead in the fourth quarter and missing a FG to make it bigger. Maybe you mean the drive where Dallas had just tied it 9-9 and with 3:38 left in the game we started at our 30 and went 3-and-out. Is that the failed opportunity you're talking about?

The point here is dallas did not desrve the win
Washington when it was 3-3, should have just
pulverized them to a pulp. To me all this so called
Win did was screw them in 2016

Oh ... now I understand what you meant by not taking the lead when they had a chance. Thanks for the clarification.
