The #Redskins are signing safety & ST Jeron Johnson to a 2-year deal worth $4M, source said. He visited this weekend.

Two years, $4 million. Nice work by our FO — this guy might very well be starting material. But even if not, he's a solid role player and even does special teams.

This might look like a downright steal in retrospect.

His STs talent will definitely be an added bonus... not being able to crack the starting roster behing Chancellor and Thomas doesn't mean this kid isn't a stud, thats near impossible to do. Hopefully he's learned a lot from that tandem- but it certainly won't take much to be better then what we've been fielding.

Price tag is nice too..

Now we just need a monster O-lineman.. Do we have enough cap space to sign the Mountain?!?! Bwaa haaahaaa he'd sadly be an upgrade over half our current starters I'm sure

What's he look like? Looking a Hawks pics and they have #23 and #32 displayed as Johnson. I guess he has changed numbers at one point.

Great signing, upgrade over what we had regardless of how he plays. Low cost and potential to pay off big.
