I don't know details, but does it mean he remains a Redskins? Is this an agreement to terms on both sides....?

Its not especially good news for D. Hall! But its a good move for the team.

For him coming off two achilles injuries at his age, this deal is probably better than what he could expect to get somewhere else if the team released him now. Its kind of a "prove it" deal, isn't it? Show this summer that you're healthy and can make the 53 man roster, and we'll pay you.
I like D. Hall. I hope he's able to bounce back.

It's much better than not doing anything. I don't know if he's worth the money he'll get if he makes the final roster, but at least now cutting him is a real option.
Also, the claim that he wouldn't make it on another team? That's kind of laughable, unless his injury is career-ending (in which case we'll just cut him anyway). Cornerbacks are in high demand across the league. People who can play will get a spot, and though Hall isn't in the top 32 at his position, he can play well enough to justify a spot on more than a few teams.
Yeah, I think DHALL sort of had to do this. I would love to know how it was reworked..... is it something where the cap hit would be reduced if he were cut? Obviously DHALL was grossly overpaid and many of the over-the-hill players have to restructure.
DHALL also knew it was in his best interests since he wouldn't be a hot commodity on the open market. For example, you don't hear much about Garcon's willingness to restructure........
Yeah... The primary thing this deal does, is protect the team's cap if Hall isn't able to perform, and must be released... Good deal for the team... And speaks volumes about Hall's loyalty to the team.
