New BIG NAME QB?

Post by EA7649 »

The Redskins are on the top of the list for Mike Vick. Whether he be a starter or a back up. He would love to play back home and he claims noone knows desean jackson better than him.

Maybe it could be a good think for Robert. Vick was a scrambling qb before he went to jail. When he returned to the league under Andy Reid, he was forced to stay in the pocket. Maybe Vick could help Robert?

Thoughts?

I cannot imagine Gruden wanting Vick here - that's not happening
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Pooi on that. One big name quarterback is more than enough.

turn the page. That's a train wreck. Vick was great in college and coming out of college. But he's long in the tooth now.

The Jets brought in Vick as a back up to help Smith. And that didn't help at all, and all it did was start people talking for a change as a starter. So maybe that wouldn't be good. And its common sense to think Smith and Griffen are similar qbs.

No, he isn't the kind of QB for Gruden's system.

Does Vick even count as a "big name" quarterback? I don't think so . . . he's not even the designated starter on a team with bad QBs.

I'd consider him a celebrity name, so I think he's a big name with the success and experience he had.

sorry mate - Vick is a OK QB but he is certainly not a 'big name' QB any more and he is not coming here

Michael Vick is a big name, but unfortunately not for being a good QB anymore.

Michael Vick and RGMe are actually the same guy. Both washed-up has-beens that put up a lot of yards in college and terrible in the pros. Neither one can read a defense. I suppose Vick is a bit more durable than Griffin.
