Jerry Rice signs with the Redskins!!!!!

Post by cowboykillerzRGiii »

Jr that is...
He is far from what his father was at the moment but we all know what's in his blood! He is Most likely camp fodder and a ps hopeful. We are deeeep at wide receiver. Omg I love saying that!!!

I think he will be cut, because the large depth. Unless there is some injuries. If he makes the team does he get any plays? His college stats aren't that impressive.

I'm chuckling at the obvious joke...

The Redskins are so deep at wide receiver, they sent Jerry Rice to the practice squad!

Haha!
Ya he'd be a long shot to make last years roster much less this year being so deep at wide out. I haven't read into his measurables but maybe they will try to convert him into a db and see how he does.

But Ya even the practice squad is a long shot imo

He set division I-AA records, so they were pretty good. He did go to Podunk College though, so I think someone's confused questions about the level he played with how well he played.

Did his son play 1-A? I'm just trying to understand whether or not Sr. elevated his game in the pros, so one might wonder if Jr. would do the same.

Jr. played I believe at UCLA and then UNLV.

Sr. was a first round draft pick, Jr. was undrafted, so Sr. turned heads and he didn't have a name like Jr. to draw attention, so I wouldn't count on it.
