RGIII at #15 on top 100 of 2013
So RG Jr. Jr. is about to be revealed as #15 on the list (top spot ever for a rookie or a Heisman Trophy winner). Too low? Too high? What say you?

I think he scares the crap out of a lot of NFL players... Too High? We'll see if the league's defenses catch up... that will tell the tale... though, frankly, I think he's going to learn a lot about working from the pocket this summer... making him even scarier... and making #15 a little low.

My only problem is that Russell Wilson is ranked ahead of him. I know it is not a completely off base, but it still pisses me off and I still think Griffin is better.
I'm not gonna derail this into a Wilson vs. Griffin conversation but wanted to throw that out there.
Russell Wilson was 51.

Huh? Wilson was 51, RGIII was 15.emoses14 wrote:My only problem is that Russell Wilson is ranked ahead of him. I know it is not a completely off base, but it still pisses me off and I still think Griffin is better.

Yeah, I just realized my mistake and was going back to edit, but won't since its already gotten a response. Whatever list I looked at, didn't have a rank filled in for him on the show, just a fan one. I assumed that meant he hadn't been ranked yet.Deadskins wrote:Huh? Nothing to see here, folks. Move along.

Re: RGIII at #15 on top 100 of 2013
a lot of these 'lists' mean so little - all that is important is who is the player best suited for this franchise - RG3 is the best QB in the NFL for the 2013 RedskinsDeadskins wrote:So RG III is about to be revealed as #15 on the list (top spot ever for a rookie or a Heisman Trophy winner). I think that we've gone beyond the off season awards - we 'won' so many times that we're not eligible anymore

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Yes, but this list was determined by the votes of his peers. Every player votes, and RG Jr. Jr. got more votes than all but 14 other players. That's impressive.SkinsJock wrote:a lot of these 'lists' mean so littleDeadskins wrote:So RG Jr. Jr. is about to be revealed as #15 on the list (top spot ever for a rookie or a Heisman Trophy winner). OK - but he's going to be even higher on that list next yearDeadskins wrote:Yes, but this list was determined by the votes of his peers. That is what makes this so impressive to me....it was voted on by his peers....not by mediots or by retired players. This is not a lifetime achievement ranking, but based on what happened this past season. Suprised that RGIII was ranked higher than Ryan or Flacco.....but certainly deserved a high ranking and to be ahead of Luck and Wilson.

I can totally believe that some guys don't bother to vote. But I don't buy for a second that they don't have the opportunity, or the knowledge of how to do so.boozeking25 wrote:Not every player votes on the list. Actually, a good amount of players don't even vote. Stars on the list such as Roddy White and Charles Tillman already asked when / where does this voting take place because they've never partaken in the voting process; and they are stars.

I agree with the dead man ... they may be 'stars' but they are VERY obviously NOT, bright onesboozeking25 wrote:Not every player votes on the list. Actually, a good amount of players don't even vote. Ed Reed? I'm shocked. Dude is toast, IMHO. Top 30, yeah but he's a shell of his former self.HEROHAMO wrote:This is my own personal list of top 15.

Its not like Reed had a bad season. He also is coming off a SuperBowl year. He still has some gas in the tank.
Sure he is not the same as he was before but he is still a great player IMHO.

Reed contributed to a Super Bowl winning effort, yes. Is there something in the tank? Yes. IMO is he top 15 in the league anymore, no. He's injury riddled and a below average tackler at this point in his career. The fans here in Baltimore aren't even that hurt to see him go, they know they got all they can out of him.HEROHAMO wrote:Chris Luva Luva wrote:Ed Reed? I'm shocked. Dude is toast, IMHO. Honestly, if Baltimore hadn't been so cheap and gave him a new contract years back, he would have retired. This move to the Texans was for a pay day and I wonder if his play will reflect it.
