Right Tackle Tyson Clabo Cut

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Right Tackle Tyson Clabo Cut

Post by The Hogster »

Tyson is a Shanahan pickup from 2004. He's started every game since 2006 and made the Pro Bowl in 2010. He's 31 and likely won't be coming here due to the cap situation, but he's someone to watch.

And he was cut because of cap purposes and not performance

I believe we're still going to restructure a couple guys. I might be wrong, but they're getting really aggressive with signing the best they can with what they have. Very pleased about how wisely the FO has handled the cap situation.

I strongly believe we are going to see the same level of "wiseness" in the draft. Very exciting!

Is this one of those deals where the Broncos are still paying him while he plays for his next team? If so, he might not demand as much.

He was scheduled to make $4.5M this year, but the Falcons are trying to extend Matt Ryan so they need the cap space

As someone who is completely ignorant to how contracts work...

Let's say this guy would come in for a cheap price, could we just drop the dude from Tampa without any issues?

oh man - :-$
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
