I'm just providing a little clarification for the sake of all board members. No reason to get worked up.
Gee you guys are stuck in the 90's I give you that much??? most modern message boards have threads for certain topics and keep topics within them to a certain degree TO HELP KEEP THE BOARD FROM GETTING SO DISORGANIZED.
We have house rules to help keep things orderly. One of those rules is that we typically have one thread for one topic — or as close to this as is reasonable. Board vets know the procedure, and our volunteer mods do a good job of doing whatever extra guidance is needed (mostly) behind the scenes.
There's no need to lend extra "help" that could end up getting confusing (with multiple threads discussing the same thing at the top of the board).
I'm not sure what you find so controversial about this, but if you have any additional questions feel free to send a PM.
