Seahawks Sign Flynn 3 Years $26 Million

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

He visited but passed... like Fisher, Manning, and a other free agents, along with Jim Harbaugh last year.

Seahawks? First they rent back up, Charlie Whitehurst for a couple of years and send him back to SD. Then they sign Tavaris Jackson, a back up, to an $8 mil contract. Now, they sign Flynn, a back up, to an $8 mil contract.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.

Apparently there will be a boycott this year in Miami because of the owner.
Support the troops, especially our snipers.

Maybe, he is hoping PM signs with the Titans so he can get his old Seattle QB back.

I don't think he really needs to spin anything. The Browns do have Colt McCoy, who wasn't terrible last season despite very little help on offense. If they can improve their offensive line some and add a playmaker at wide receiver (Blackmon?) McCoy imo has a chance to be successful.

They have a chance to find out what they have in McCoy this season and if he sucks then they will likely be in a position to go after Barkley or Jones in the 2013 draft.

Then, why whine in public about feeling slighted by the Rams in the deal for the second pick? Why insult the current holder of the starting job? I could not understand why they were so hot for that pick, specifically because they have Colt McCoy, whom, with some tools, it probably a pretty darned good QB. But, it was Holmgren, nobody else, who made a big deal of it... and who has certainly undermined the confidence of the team and the fans in their quarterback.

I think he made a big deal of it to appease the fans, to show them "look, we are trying to make some bigs moves." Kind of how the Nationals made a huge deal, by leaking their contract offer, of how they offered Mark Teixeira the second highest contract offer when he signed with the Yankees three years ago. After our trade offer was accepted by the Rams there wasnt much coverage of the Browns offer (at least not that I saw), so I think Holmgren tried to show the fans that the team tried hard to get a deal done.
