Free Agent Moves Around the League
I figured since there's a thread going discussing our moves in free agency I start this one to talk about what's happening around the league.
We already heard the Saints resigned Colston, now the Bears are tradding two third-round picks for Brandon Marshall in a blockbuster trade with the Miami Dolphins.

The other thread about should get added to this but if.not...
Brandon is still under contract for three years ~28 million. So add that to the two third round picks the bears gave up...
Not a great deal at all

WOW
In the numbers that matter, that's almost a Haynesworth size contract. Crazy.

Carlos Rogers re-sign with 49ers
He's getting PAID now........hahaha. He's LAUGHING all the way to the bank. Finally fixed his eyes.
Recommend139Tweet61Comments270EmailPrintThe San Francisco 49ers and cornerback Carlos Rogers have reached agreement on a four-year deal worth roughly $30 million, a source told ESPN.com senior NFL writer John Clayton.
With escalators and incentives, the deal could max out at $31.3 million, the source said.
Rogers was San Francisco's main priority among its own free agents. His return means all 11 defensive starters will return to a team that finished 13-3 and lost in the NFC Championship Game.
The 30-year-old cornerback had a career-best six interceptions in his first season with the 49ers.
Drafted No. 9 overall by the Redskins in 2005, Rogers never lived up to the team's expectations in Washington that included questions on how he stacked up against fellow defensive backs Shawn Springs, Fred Smoot or DeAngelo Hall.

so one person sharpens another.
so one person sharpens another.

Somehow I don't see the two as comparable... Desean is a playmaker but he's no Megatron.
EXACTLY!!!
When DeSean can catch a ball over 3 players, then maybe he can be mentioned.. until then, NOOOOOOOOPE!

They also signed CB Brandon Carr to a 5-year, $50.1 million deal.

Oh Bollocks! Would have loved Carr here.
Oh well, more importantly its 1-0 to Chelsea against Napoli at halftime, trying to turn around a 3-1 loss from the first game or we're out of Europe this season.
C'MON CHELSEA!!!

Being a Chelsea fan is pretty much the same thing as a Dallas fan.
