If You HAD To Choose Between Rex & Vince Young
First things first, God forbid we are faced with this reality.
But, it's slightly possible.
Imagine this scenario.
Let's say that Peyton Manning signs with another team. Matt Flynn, and Kyle Orton do too. And, the Redskins are unable to draft a QB that can start right away.
SO
If the Redskins had to choose between Free Agents Rex Grossman & Vince Young to play until the Rookie is ready: Who would you rather have???

Ha!! The similar thing about this Poll and the other, is that while Rex may get more votes from this crowd, he still sucks & makes the same mistakes over and over again.
And, if we're honest about it, the other choice actually WINS.

C'mon guys, if you actually met each other in a bar not knowing who you were on this site you'd probably end up good friends.
Time for a truce maybe? For the sake of the rest of us on here...

We came about as close to a truce as we're going to come. It's no real beef between us. 1niksder just doesn't know when to admit I'm right. He'll come around.

Trying to slip in the tongue when you kissed and made up isn't going to expedite that process...
This isn't even a question. Rex is the answer. To this question. Vince Young isn't going to do anything positive for the team.

Good christ, these choices suck.
These choices do suck. But, it's plausible. It's looking like Flynn will re-unite with his coach in Miami. Peyton isn't a shoe in. And, Kyle Orton? If he's not back in KC, I can't see the Skins having the same backfield that the Bears had 5 years ago that didn't work then, and is even lamer now.
I'm not a fan of Vince Young. But, I'm not a fan of Rex either. If we need a stop gap answer at QB--Vince might go somewhere on a one-year deal and play his butt off for a shot somewhere else. He's got everything to prove, and is 30-17 as a starter--a record of nearly 2-1 is impressive.
I doubt it happens. If he pi$$ed off Shanahan's buddy Jeff Fisher, he's probably out of the question. But, he would be an upgrade over Rex if you're trying to win games.

OK stop...
This is just wrong....
The only thing worst than beating a dead horse is poking a dead man after he's falling off his high horse.
Vince will have more votes then him soon enough.

That's debatable. But, he has more wins now--that's for sure.

Rex is a turnover machine while Vince Young is an emotional headcase.
Obviously we want neither of the two but I would take Vince over Rex. At least Vince can make some things happen. I am also sure Vince would get us more wins then Rex would ever do.

Ha! The thought just came to me. I'm a football junkie. I have either NFL Network or ESPN on in my office, and I'm online between sports sites & sometimes here to talk news (I work in between). And, a lot of the discussion around QBs has the most coveted Free Agents being linked to other cities. Flynn's old coach is now in MIA. They are getting rid of Henne. Sounds like a fit.
Manning - while being linked here, may wind up elsewhere, like the NYJ.
Chiefs say they want competition for Cassell which could mean re-signing Orton.
Then there's the trade debate. It's possible that the Skins simply cannot trade up--thus unable to get RG3 or Luck. If we can't trade down--which is possible. We might be forced to take BPA at 6, and hope for a QB in 2.
There should be a QB there, but not necessarily one that can start right away. Which leaves us here. Go in another year with Rex?? Or Get one of the second / third tier Free Agents?
Of that group, Vince Young--while controversial, and mercurial--might be in position to lead a team for 1 year if that team is trying to win games (like Mike S will be).
I knew it would make people want to vomit

I thought you were a lawyer. My bad.

To your point... if Vince Young has any thoughts of reviving his career... this might be his best shot at leading a team that's on the rise.
The thought is quite nauseating...

I always kinda liked Vince Young. I was kinda hoping we'd go after him last year after passing on Mallett.

Here's a name that's popping up today...Alex Smith. Add him to this list and I would select him over these two idiots.
Also thrown out today was McNabb to the Browns. Reunited with the most of the guys in Philly when he was there.

this is not really a choice - it's a poll with absolutely no foundation
the OP postulates that it is "slightly possible" - that is obviously a stupid assessment

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
