Enigmatic Ricky Williams: retires

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Enigmatic Ricky Williams: retires

Post by tribeofjudah »

Ricky is one of those players, so strange and misunderstood....but frankly, I like him.

He said that while football was fun and that he loves/loved it - it also caused him limitations to who he feels he should become.

He wants to travel the world, give back via his charity foundation, do fun things in life. Who doesn't want to do that...???

He asked his wife if he could travel the world and she gave him "permission".....he looked at his "bank account" and it looked good enough.....

SO, Ricky, I wish you the best in life. Hope to read more about your adventure in the future.

I like Ricky a lot, he catches a lot of flak that's just soiled in ignorance. If you've never seen his ESPN E60 story, watch it. Good stuff.

Good for him. I can't smoke pot because of my job, and I find it frustrating as well.
