WHAT doe this really mean anyway?
1. is there a bonus if you make the roster?
2. do they get a prize/trophy?
3. is it just bragging rights?
4. are there incentives written in contract about All Pro Roster?
If no, no, no..........who gives a RIP.....???

Some players do have these incentives written into their contracts.... mostly so the agent can say the deal is worth more than what it is, but lots of deals include this incentive following a player being traded for then given a new deal or extention

It's widely considered the best all-star list with any official recognition. Even the players know that a Pro-Bowl selection doesn't necessarily mean you're the best player.
I just read a couple of articles where two players (Jared Allen and I think Calvin Johnson) said that to them making all pro is second to winning a Super Bowl in terms of a professional achievement. So the players definitely care, at least.
